The room was very clean, and there was literally no in person check-in, very simple. The bathroom looked brand new.

we hade to take out the trash before we left never in my travels have I had to do this. They put 2 seniors upstairs when none of the lower rooms were taken. Notes everywhere telling you what you could and could not do and what you had to do after you did something unbelievable.

It was very welcoming after spending 10 hours driving. Everything looked so fresh. Really enjoyed the cocoa & coffee assortment.

Great little studio room. Comfortable bed, very clean, easy to get to. Will stay here again.

cleanest newest option for a get away at Lava

Probably one of the nicer places in Lava Hot Springs. I'd definitely stay there again.

Our stay at Winzig was great! Super clean, super cute and comfortable. My only complaint was wishing there was a little stool in the shower to shave my legs, also the showerhead made the water come out all crazy. Minor complaints but my family and I would gladly stay again.

Our stay at Winzig was very comfortable and quiet. Property was easy to get into and I was able to call the host with questions without any issues. The building was recently built, the appliances, shower etc were quite new; the internet was fine and everything was clean. The room was super quiet and peaceful, although to be honest it's possible that we were the only ones in the building for that night. The shades were not blackout but the host had thoughtfully supplied some disposable sleeping masks. The main downtown area is about a 7-10 minute walk down one street. Easy to get to. My family (me, wife, 9 and 11 year old boys) found the Winzig Lodge comfortable and secure. Would stay again if traveling to the Lava Hot Springs area again.

This was a good place for my family with small kids. I would say if my kids were any older it would not have sufficed. This is because the beds listed as trundles are just fold up mats. But for my 5 and 3 year old they were fine. The service we received when the water heater wasn’t working I made a call and it was fixed very quickly!

The property is fairly new and clean. It is within a few hundred yards oftdowntown. Good assortment of K-Cup style coffee but The coffee maker in my room had to be plugged in and left on for a minute or two before it would brew.

Great little hotel; my wife wants this to be our Lava go to from now on!

Only feedback is there is no hot water in the morning. They must have only 1 water heater for the complex. Otherwise this place is fantastic. Very clean and has everything you need

Room was fine, comfortable. Heater was noisy all day/night and could not hear TV when I was trying to watch because of the noise.

Comfy and cozy studio, perfect for a girls trip. The host was very friendly and made sure the snow was shoveled away each morning.

Such a unique cool place to stay! Plenty of space and all the accommodations we needed to stay with a family. Great location!
