Beautiful property,excellent location,wonderful hospitality and very delicious breakfast served with great warmth. The host goes all out to ensure that you have a great stay.what more can you ask for.

Cozy place. Pretty views. Great hosts. Bathrobes in the room and plenty of charging outlets both a plus. Breakfast was delicious. Close to the town and many restaurants but still a quiet area.

Lots of comfortable living room seating and outdoor seating. Games and books, access to a fridge and coffee maker anytime. Was pretty clean.
Breakfast consisted of mostly simple carbs and very little protein. On a busy highway; traffic noises. Wi-Fi didn’t work well in the room

Breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. Snacks/ desserts were also available at the end of the day that were very good. A variety of drinks and snacks are available for purchase. Hosts were wonderful. The common area layout is spacious and well planned with a great selection of books as wells as games and puzzles. Though the location is on the main traffic area, the back provides a nice outside sitting space with beautiful views of Mount Mansfield and other mountains.
Some might not care for the location on the main road- but if you select a room with views in the back how can you complain?

The owner’s attention to detail is exquisite. He was really nice and helpful. We were offered snacks in the evening (a delicious fudge), their coffee was great and their breakfast simply delicious.
The place was clean, comfortable, cozy and all the positive adjectives you can think of.
We loved everything about the Brass Lantern Inn.

Don, owner with Andrew, could not have been more gracious. The old house is lovely and nicely modernized. Bed was comfortable, breakfast was delicious...just perfect for this weary guest.
No tub in room. But there is a hot tub!

I really enjoyed the fenced in area for the dogs very close to my room.. the food was fantastic...
35 dollars per dog per night is a bit much for the pet fee we thought.. but we paid it and it was a very good stay..
