Excellent breakfast, professional and friendly staff, good size room with comfortable bed, large restroom and responsive A/C controls, within walking distance of many shops and restaurants ... a pretty wonderful stay!

Slightly out of town, but a very pleasant 25 minute walk by the river. Great room, breakfast was busy but good choice. Some items though not replenished though. Overall very good!

Wir waren anlässlich eines Vortrags dort und haben den Tag zum Besichtigen genutzt.Sehr witzig fanden wir, dass der Verzicht auf die Zimmer-Reinigung belohnt wird!Wir hätten uns über ein lokaleres und breiteres Weinangebot und ein bisschen Beratung gefreut. Aber wir hatten wirklich 2 schöne Tage dort!

Requested for a room near the Lift but was not given, had to ask to change, mattresses is very soft but otherwise not much problem. About 8 mins drive to German corner

Great little hotel in Koblenz, very convenient to visit other sites in the region (particularly castles). You can walk into town via the river path to get food in the evening (which we did when we stayed here). The parking lot is, interesting. Its basically a one way down and individual spots between large concrete pillars, you will want to back in for sure. They had adequate lighting though and there were plenty of spots when we went.

Nice hotel next to the river BUT quite expensive for the service. Asked to stay until 1pm but they asked me 30€… breakfast charged 15€ (not 10) as mentioned on the website) Had to wait a lot at the reception - only one person very busy on the phone …

Fint hotel med god beliggehed tæt på centrum og lige ved Mosel. Vi havde et meget stort værelse og det var i pæn stand. Hyggeligt hotel i lidt speciel stil, men det kan anbefales.

We love this Hotel close to the river, it is a pleasant 20 minute walk to town. even with the COVID-19 restrictions the hotel staff are friendly and everything from the room to brekfast was excellent. Highly recommend this hotwl$

We stayed at contel in Koblenz for one night just passing through. The staff was very friendly, rooms surprisingly big, easy to park in the huge parking basement and great breakfast with both gluten-free and vegan options. Pretty close to city center also. Overall would definitely recommend

This is a nice, comfortable hotel, in a good location for exploring Koblenz. It has a nice outdoor area - the Frog pond - and is on the path along the river. We visited on a weekend without a reservation, and found this to be very expensive relative to other hotels along the Rhine and Mosel Rivers. There was an extra charge for breakfast.

Not right in the center of Koblenz but a nice walk (30 min) along the Mosel river to the German corner. Free parking. Nice rooms. Great staff with great information. Great breakfast, outside seating and sparkling wine. Not much shopping right around, big food store and the largest beer store I have ever been to think Costco size

Very clean with nice staff. Hotel itself is very kitsch and was probably fashionable about 30 years ago. Large rooms which also have a small kitchen area. There is a nice river walk into town from the hotel.

Just able to stay one night in Koblenz but really enjoyed this hotel. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms were large, clean, and well appointed. Had a beer in the very nice beer garden. Would highly recommend.

Calm and quiet atmosphere. Plenty of parking spaces. Clean and spacious room. Comfortable bed. Effective, but not too loud AC. Polite and professional staff. Breakfast was good, enough options to choose from. Within walking distance (20 min) to Altstadt of Koblenz. Just follow the river promenade.

This is a quirky hotel that seems to do everything well. The restaurant was very good with lots of outdoor and indoor dining options. The food was very good and exceeded expectations. The staff was helpful and efficient.

we booked a large room and it was huge! for the $$$ a good deal, did not try the breakfast. In a quiet area near the river mosel, a bit hard to find. parking is free and located across the hotel in an open air large plot.

The Contel is a good hotel. Facilities are clean. There is a bar and restaurant. Good breakfast, however the restaurant does get very full at peak times. Rooms are nice and spacious. My room also had a bath as well as a shower. Staff are helpful and nice A 15 minute walk along the fiver gets you to the Altstadt and the centre of the city. I will definitely be staying there again

Great, hidden away gem. Eclectic mix of a funky 70s/South Beach vibe and an effort at being green. Nice restaurant, great food and the Biergarten outback is a nice touch. Parking is ample and free. Consider this a place to stay when you're in Koblenz. It's not a chain, it's not low-end and it is sort of boutique.

The hotel was close to the downtown (old city) and the HIT supermarket (walking distance). There was ample parking at the hotel. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel was very well maintained.

Pleasant hotel; clean, comfortable quiet room; twin bed as requested; free outdoor parking was available; about 15 min walk along the river to the old centre of town; located in a more suburban/business area.

It was a nice and quiet location away from city noise.A mile walk to town along the river. Nice eating area around the hotel's pond/water feature. Took a taxi to train station about 7 euro. There is a big grocery store around the corner. There is a boat lock by the hotel.We enjoyed watching ships go in&out.

Hotel room has a relatively lower ceiling. It was not much comfortable. It was not easy to find the registration area when I arrived. I had to walk around the hotel building. And the beer garden in the hotel was expensive compared to its food quality.

Stayed here for one night on a business trip. Hotel is very unusual in that it combines an older single storey building with a modern 'tower' but they have chosen to decorate the rooms in their tower in the older style...think white rough textured walls with arches and dark wooden beams and furniture. The rest of the hotel is decorated with a very eclectic mix of tchotchkes (ranging from green frogs through Greek statuary to couches fashioned from the back end of VW Beetles). It shouldn't work (and probably doesn't) but somehow it charms as evidenced by the hotel being full of business people. It's a 30 minute walk (7 minute ride) from the central railway station so not close to anything. Overall I'd recommend if you want a comfortable, welcoming hotel and you have a taste for the unusual.
