The property is basic but met our needs- clean and comfortable and right on the beach, there are restaurants and bars handy- but they are not rowdy late night places. Little local shops supply your self catering needs

Hartstikke vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel, iedere dag zuivere handdoeken, bedden werden opgemaakt en appartement gepoetst.

Het enige wat tegenviel was het bankstel die was doorgezakt, maar hebben ons daar niet aan gestoord want veel hebben we niet gezeten op vakantie.

Los apartamentos son bastante amplios, y se encuentran a pie de playa. La cocina cuenta con todo lo necesario para una buena estancia. Camas cómodas.

Que no haya baño en la planta principal y haya que bajar al sótano.

Muchas Gracias to Andres on reception, an efficient, welcoming and charming host, he went out of his way to explain the routes to the nearest shops, best places to visit and the busiest bakery in town! He cheerfully organised taxis and allowed us to store our suitcases after check out. Comfortable beds, very clean rooms, good wifi. The sea view (roof terrace a real bonus!!) and the proximity to the beautiful La Mata beach is splendid, the pool sparkling.

What is advertised as direct access via 2 gates to the beach from the pool area is currently shut and overlooking a building site, it looks like they could be extending the promenade between the hotel and the beach. The view from the room balconies was marred by said building site. The hotel needs attention, very shabby paintwork, ugly rusty spiral stairs between room balconies, piled up patio chairs next to the stairs leading to the rooms... The adjacent beach bar and restaurant I saw online is closed (seasonal?).

Location was great, directly on the beach. Receptionist at check in was friendly and helpful with recommendations about the beautiful town of La Mata.

No nearby parking available- we parked 400 metres away (I asked online a day before and the answer from the hotel was, not a problem nearby). Wifi is not existing- we got the code at check in but the router was never visible for us. Hotel needs serious updating- the walls have cracks, roof comes down, furniture is very old and mattress is not comfortable to have a relaxed night. Kitchen appliances are old and doesn’t seem safe to use. Curtains are not long enough at the kitchen/living area, which means neighbours can watch you all time. The pictures showed a restaurant, which is not part of the hotel, therefore no breakfast available. Furthermore the noise level was high and cleaning staff was quite loud talking in front of rooms and moving furniture at 8am. At check out we had to wait for receptionist as they start to work at 10am and we had no information prior where to leave keys. We paid 340€ for 2 nights and expected a decent standard, but very dissapointed and see this hotel as a tourist trap. Can‘t recommend it and will book a decent Apartment in La Mata from other providers in the future, because that town is heaven on earth.
