Our family of 7 stayed for a week at the Marriott’s Newport Coast Villas. With a large family it is usually hard to find a place to accommodate all of us. The villa was plenty big and having a kitchen to eat a few meals was a bonus! After leaving Cali we were headed to Vegas-the villa had a washer and dryer-so we didn’t have to pack many clothes. Outside of the villa-the views we’re beautiful. You could watch sunrises and sunsets with the Pacific in the background. The kids loved the koi pond, basketball, table tennis, and golf, which was all included with the stay. We spent some days at the pool and the hot tubs, and other days we made trips to the beach, which was super close! We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

The villa was very accommodating for our family of 7! It was wonderful having a kitchen for saving on meals, a washer and dryer to cut down on how many outfits we needed to pack, and plenty of space for everyone to spread out! The kids loved the koi pond, basketball, golf, table tennis, and the pools were the icing on the cake! Everyday you were able to enjoy the sunrises and sunsets with the Pacific in the background. The staff was very helpful if you needed more towels, extra coffee, or had any questions. The beach was super close, so we spent some of our days exploring. We def would stay here again and highly recommend!

Overall nice property. Enjoyed the gym. Pool was nice. Close to restaurants, grocery store for shopping and beach. Management was accommodating and changed room for us at our request. Friendly staff. Value property.

From the moment we arrived the property was everything we hoped for and more. The staff was friendly and responsive. We were able to access our room with ease. The rooms were perfect for our family of 4. After two weeks we were sad to leave. We would absolutely spend a couple weeks here again.

Fabulous resort

Nice property, shuttle issues and delays. Difficult to exchange pool towels.

Everything was great! We enjoyed our stay except we have no service in our room and the WIFI was so spotty. They came out to try to fix it but it didn’t work. It was really hard to research attractions or restaurants (we had dietary restrictions we needed to research) in an area we weren’t familiar with without internet. We had to go down to the middle of the parking lot to take phone calls. That was really inconvenient. Aside from that everything was great, the staff was kind and friendly the space was clean. The location was 30 minutes from Disney! We would for sure come back again.

Incredible villa, spacious and modern, with two bedrooms, full kitchen, and a first floor walkout private patio. We had a peekaboo ocean view, walking distance to the main pool and another pool area. Onsite food is decent pub food, and onsite drinks are pricey. Shuttles to crystal cove and the amazing beachcomber restaurant. close to disneyland, angels stadium, and all the orange county beaches, hiking, shopping, and natural beauty. At times, resort pool got crowded and hottubs would get full, but overall incredible place to stay. Only request for future would be to have ability to pick room location/view upon booking, as we ended up on the first floor with limited view.

Great place for family vacation

Beautiful resort! Rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Enjoyed relaxing by the pool looking at the ocean view!

We spent four nights at the Marriott Newport Coast Villa and loved every minute. Check-in was easy and everyone who worked at the resort was super friendly. Our room location was upgraded to a partial ocean view, perfect for lounging in the morning drinking coffee and catching up with the girls! Our villa had everything we needed for prepping snacks, playing games and watching movies. The pool area was great - and we enjoyed drinks from the bar and take away food for lunch and happy hour. This is a great resort for adults and families.

We enjoyed our stay with Marriott Newport. Unit was terrific and generally well stocked. A short drive to either Newport or Laguna and all of the attractions, shopping and dining options they both have. And a short walk to the beach and the coastal trails. We’ll likely be back!

Wonderful views, friendly staff and amazing services.

The villas & property are even better than shown in the photos. It is a great location, minutes from downtown Newport or Laguna Beach. Our teens loved all of the amenities on the property that they were content to just stay there and enjoy everything the resort had to offer. We highly recommend it and can’t wait to go back!

Everything was so nice, clean, well kept. Staff was so easy to work with. I loved being able to text questions and they would get back to me right away.

I really like this place. The rooms are nice and have everything we need. The view is amazing. The resort has good trails, very convenient shuttle service, and front desk is very responsive. Booking is easy, vacationcandy is help, flexible, and promptly answered all my questions.

I had a one week in the Mariott but it has been extended because of the great resort stayed in, I do recommend this place for any one with his family you will enjoy it

Amazing place to vacation with your family. It was exactly as described. Very clean and well maintained. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. I will recommended this property to all my family and friends. We enjoyed Crystal Cove beach and the restaurant and bar at the same location I believe it was called "Beachcomber".

The Mariott’s Newport coast Villa is a great place to spend your vacation. The location is great in a very beautiful hill with great view to the ocean. This is one of the best resorts I have stayed for families. Great heated swimming pool, could be warmer in the winter, but it is fine. Daily activities. Rooms are in great condition and very spacious. Resort view of the pacific ocean is unbelievable. Location is perfect to visit the orange county.

The resort and grounds are absolutely beautiful. Any images or descriptions you see don't do it justice. A+ customer service for every employee that we interacted with. It was my parents' 50th wedding anniversary while there, and when resort staff found out, they treated them to a complimentary in-room meal and bottle of wine. The resort offers a shuttle to nearby destinations and has plenty of on-site activities. The only con to the whole stay was that an apparent herd of elephants stayed in the villa above ours, making it hard to sleep at night. That's not necessarily the resort's problem, but I guess that means that soundproofing could be upgraded. As for booking through VacationCandy, it was a great experience. All aspects of the reservation were handled by their awesome customer service crew. I'll definitely be returning to them for our next family getaway.

To start, the booking process was easy and efficient, and Vacation Candy was always available, prompt and helpful answering any questions. After the booking process, Marriott takes over and you get owner-level treatment all the way through check-in and throughout your stay. The villas are incredible and the resort property is top notch, with convenient shuttle service to the Crystal Cove ad Laguna beaches and Newport Coast shopping. This is the place to be and Vacation Candy provides an excellent way to enjoy this resort! This is the way to enjoy the Irvine and Costa Mesa and Newport Coast areas! Marriott Vacation Club offers the typical time share tour and presentation. It paid well for me and wife, and honestly, didn't mind it at all, even running long. Pretty impressive actually and hard to say no when staying here! Recommendations: The Beachcomber, Old Vine Cafe', Avila's El Ranchito ... Crystal Cove Beach, Balboa Peninsula Note: Hwy 73 becomes a toll road that is $19 for 5 days so plan accordingly to not get hit with extra, expensive tolls!

Marriott's Newport Coast Villas is a wonderful place to stay and served us extremely well as an anchor to explore Southern California. The resort has extremely comfortable accommodations, fabulous amenities and within reach of San Diego, Los Angeles and everything in between. We have stayed there twice in two years and will return when we visit the area again in the future.
