It could do with an update, the headboard looked grubby , hair dryer was broken.

The room was clean and good value for money. Location was excellent.

Common areas like stairs dirty and not cleaned during our stay. Decor needs to be improved as the location is so good it is a shame hotel is so shabby.

The room was large enough. The shower was great. The hotel had charm. The location was central.

Bookings said the tax was included in the email Bookings sent. The hotel staff said it was not included. We had to pay it or forfeit our reservation.

Room a generous size. Excellent shower..Friendly helpful staff. Location excellent for access to attractions.

There wasn't much in the way of sound-proofing in the room, and there was no fan or air conditioning. There also often wasn't anybody at the front desk.

Do not go here!!! The staff is rude, unfriendly, doesn't speak English and refuses to do so. The room is acceptable that we had (Nr 3) for a 2* Hotel. The reason for the 1 star im giving is that we accidentally, not knowingly, parked the car at a spot where a market was held the next day. The police came into the hotel in the morning and asked whether it belonged to any German customers they had. To which the hotel reception replied No. The police asked to inform the German guests in the Hotel and left. But they never did. So our car was tolled and taken away. The police municipale said, and I quote here 'the Hotel has a reputation for being rude, unfriendly and not customer oriented.' We confronted the Hotel Staff as to why they didn't alert us in the morning and they said they didn't care. I'm baffled. If I could rate this minus 10 stars I would. A hotel is not simply a place to sleep but it also is made of the people that run it. I'd like to exclude from this the nice man possibly the cook who gave us towels. Because you must know another thing they don't clean your rooms no more. You have to go to the reception and ask for it. Otherwise they don't clean them. Which we also didn't know and had an unclean room for 3 days. But the guy then gave us new towels and emptied the trash. For that I'm grateful. He wa showever the only nice person. Horrible horrible people I must say.

The location was perfect close to all amenities.

There was alot of cigarette smoke smell most of the time in the corridors and the odour from the toilet was getting worse each day as the staff were not cleaning due to Covid19. There was no cleaning materials for us to use instead, also there was no free toiletries as promised in the details, luckily I had a small soap with me for hand washing.
