Just staying in paradise…

Wonderful views. Host left greeting basket and was very accommodating to our late hour of arrival. Quiet location and was wonderful fur the family (we were 6 adults and had more than ample room and privacy). Beautiful pool ! Close to the village (by car) and to amenities Would have been nice to have a better bbq for cooking in but otherwise great !

Place was great. Clean. Great host. Amazing pool. Air-condition that works fast.. Breathtaking views. A bit of a drive to get up to, but the view is worth it.

We booked villa Asteria as our base for our daughter's wedding in Nikiana. We knew that the accommodation was going to suit us perfectly, with a villa "upstairs" and an apartment for "the happy couple" and the children and a little studio for our eldest son and daughter in law, we all had our own front doors. Upon arrival in Nikiana, we did drive past the road leading up to the villa - yes that little track really is it! And then after the Blue and White villa, it is not just 7 "turns" that you have to pass but 7 "HAIRPINS", but once we were there it took our breath away! For two weeks our hopes, dreams and expectations were surpassed, everything we could have wished for was in our little villa and it was our "home from home" - just what we needed at our base for the big day especially, but because of the ample space, with breath taking views, we were able to host a number of large lunches and BBQ's for up to 25 people comfortably and with enough plates and cutlery! After long days, we were able to crash in our super comfy beds and slept so well, but I highly recommend getting up early to witness the peace and tranquillity of the beautiful sunrise and the sparkling sea which changes from moment to moment. I have to say though, the outstanding thing from our holiday was our host Dioni and her partner Costas, they were quite simply the most welcoming and hospitable hosts I have ever experienced - and we have had a LOT of villa holidays. Nothing was too much trouble, they bent over backwards to try and make our stay even more comfortable. With homemade Foccacia Bread, Pizza's and beautiful and greatly appreciated pancakes for breakfast, one morning after a particularly boozy and late party! This little review, only scratches the surface of our wonderful holiday we had at Diodati, I can not recommend it highly enough. Thank you Dioni and Costas!

Villa Asteria was perfect for us. We were 10 adults and 2 kids. The villa is beautiful, and the location is excellent with an amaizing view. The place is very clean and very well taken care of. The owner is so nice and friendly and always ready to answer any question or provide helpful tips. We felt great there. ❤

We had a great time in Lefkada. The accommodation was more than we expected. We were 12 people, and we had plenty of room.The villa has 2 bedrooms upstairs, one bedroom next to the pool, a studio apartment next to the pool and another 4 beds in a room next to the pool. The rooms were great and clean, and each room had a bathroom. We had everything we needed at the villa. Laura was really nice and sometimes she would make goodies for us in the morning. The pool was the highlight of the villa. Getting up in the morning and having a coffee with a great view next to the pool was more than you could ask for. The villa is located on a hill, which means that we did not disturb anyone and no one disturbed us, and the view was breathtaking. It is the best place to spend the summer holiday if you want to party and relax. We hope that we can come back sometime soon.

We booked Villa Asteria in early July 2013. We were 12 friends that live in different countries most of us and meet every summer for our vacations! This year we chose to stay in a villa as we thought it would be better for us to be altogether! The setting of the rooms in the maisonette, the apartment and studio were great all surrounding our private pool! Laura, the cleaning lady was very helpful and the general housekeeping very good! Sheets and towels were provided and changed every three days. The pool had a twice a week cleaning service. We had a great time in a beautiful place!
