High Flyer was the best! This was our sixth year renting in SSI, and we all agreed this was our best house yet.
Some of our favorite things about High Flyer:
-The owner! Great communication and help when needed.
-One story was perfect for the youngest and oldest
-Amazing back porch and pool area
-Ample parking
-Clean and well appointed rooms, each of which felt very private
-Plenty of beach and bath towels as well as beach chairs
-Kitchen well stocked and with lots of seating
-Location…we love East Beach
-Baby/toddler items provided for free
I could go on and on about this wonderful house. You won’t regret renting it, and we look forward to returning!

No need to bring your own pillow…or towels…or beach chairs! This house has it all! Comfy beds, plush bed pillows, bikes, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach towels, extra fans and all the kitchen amenities you could ask for! Dinning room and screened porch tables accommodate all your people! We loved being able to spread out in various areas of the house from the screened porch to sunroom to front screened porch to pool deck, and if you have to be in the A/C the living room! We were a large family of 9 adults and it surpassed our expectations!
It’s the best beach house we have ever rented in our decades of renting. Highly recommend this house and host!

High Flyer Cottage exceeded all expectations! The house, landscape and pool are not only beautiful, but every amenity you could possibly dream of is included! The kitchen has anything and everything you would possibly need. Every feature is top shelf. Beds are very comfortable, as is all the furniture. There are so many different seating areas, indoors and out. It is a short walk to the beach, but because it was extremely hot weather, we lived in the pool. There is a table that we sat 10 people around comfortably. Lesley was a wonderful host; prompt and responsive. There is not enough space to list all the complimentary things I could say about High Flyer Cottage!
We are already looking forward to our next trip there!

Our stay at the Highflyer Cottage was PERFECT! We had a large group and the house accommodated everyone with room to spare!
Our host, was the best! Lesley checked in with us to make sure everything was going well and to see if anything was needed! She was great and super easy to work with!
The house is absolutely a hidden gem! So spacious and equipped with everything you need. The kids loved having their space (ping-pong table, bikes, floats, etc.) and we as adults, loved our space (screened in porch for morning coffee and conversation). The backyard is the best! A beautiful pool and an area for the kids to play cornhole or just hang out in the sun - it was exactly what we needed. The kitchen was updated and spacious and the entire house was decorated beautifully!
We had such a great time and hated to leave but will definitely be back and look forward to staying again at the Highflyer Cottage!

The house, pool and location was perfect for our family vacation. The house is beautifully decorated and the kids loved the bunk room. We vacation with 3 generations each summer. We spent the most time on the spacious screen porch. The grandchildren loved playing in the pool when we weren't at the beach. We like to eat in and take turns cooking. The kitchen was well stocked for all the delicious meals that were cooked. It was nice having the stools at the kitchen counter for kids next to the adult table. The beach at the end of 11th St was never crowded and no one complained about the short walk. It was great having the beach buggy to carry the nice beach chairs from the house. The property manager Lesley was just an email away and was quick to respond to any questions. I hope we will be back next summer.

Our four month stay at Hi-Flyer was very comfortable and enjoyable. We have been spending winters on St Simons for 17 years now, so we have experienced pretty much everything along the way. We also have established a significant basis for comparison.
Hi-Flyer is the best place that we have stayed so far. It is extremely well equipped, offering five bedrooms, four and a half baths, a modern well stocked kitchen, and choices of eating, lounging and pool areas, all on one floor. For those of us who are getting on years, this is really welcomed. There were no surprises.
Perhaps the best part, however, was the wonderful responsiveness we experienced from the owners. They were over the top in terms of doing everything they could to make us as comfortable as possible. Lesley was wonderful to work with and anticipated every need. We hated leaving this year but already look forward to returning next year.

Me and a group of friends came to stay for a weekend, which we do every few weeks at different VRBOs, and we stumbled upon this jewel. The absolute most amazing place I've ever stayed at on VRBO. It is completely tailored to the guest, from the out door area with all that it offers from the pool to ping pong, the towel basket for large groups, TVs everywhere that stream music, and the owners topped it off with a sweet basket of fruit and a nice card. The attention to detail was the most impressive I've ever experienced, if you are looking for a place to stay and stumble across this one, I highly recommend this one. From now on this will be the only place I rent for large groups!

Thank you so much for the total Highflyer Cottage vacation experience! We had nine family members ranging in ages from 10 months to 74 years old and everything in between. The grandparents played golf in the area as well as PICKLEBALL and relaxed around the pool. The two teen girls rode the bikes to the beach access, to the village, and all over East Beach. The three little boys swam all day in the pool and played on the beach. All had easy access to fun locations via a rental golf cart. We loved the one story house for the grandparents and toddlers. The kitchen had everything you could imagine in beautiful new, well labeled cabinets. The beds were extra comfortable with wonderful linens and everybody had their own private bedroom/ bathroom. We will definitely be back. Thanks again.

We have stayed at many different homes and condos on St Simons Island but this was the best by far! Beautiful home with everything you could possibly need, great location, attentive host, great pool, and lots of room for family.

Our family stayed at Highflyer Cottage during Spring Break ‘23 and we could not be happier with every aspect of the VRBO. The house is perfect and all of the amenities are above expectation. We will definitely stay here again.

Great location with a quick shot to 11th street beach access. Great setup for families with really 2 masters. Stocked kitchen. Backyard is tough to beat with pool, pingpong, cornhole etc. Will stay again.

What an amazing place!!! This house couldn’t have been any better! Great location (walkable to the beach even with little ones), super clean, modern, well stocked (tons of kitchen supplies, games) and sooo much room to hang out!!! Only thing we plan on doing next time is renting a golf cart and heating the pool, which was a little chilly. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

We had an amazing time staying at this house on ST. Simon’s Island. The house was beyond perfect. Great location to the beach, plenty of room inside and out to spread out and enjoy the property. The beds were comfortable. The rooms were spacious. House provides really everything you need to entertain from kitchen utensils to family fun , pool, ping pong , beach chairs and bikes. Easy to walk or bike to beach access . Great restaurants and shops nearby. Don’t hesitate to stay here! We absolutely loved this property!

We had 4 children and 6 adults and were all very comfortable. The house was absolutely gorgeous and had everything we could possibly need! Everything was high end from the linens to the comfortable mattresses to the gorgeous decor. The kids loved the ping pong, bean bag toss, shuffle board, and the private pool. It was the perfect house and super clean!

The property was great, lots of space, rooms to congregate or be alone. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook multiple days, plastic wear for young kids, toys/noodles for the pool, YouTube TV to watch the games. Would love to go back.
