Die gesamte Kommunikation lief über WhatsApp, einfach super!! Die Lage des Hotels gefiel uns sehr, ebenso die gepflegte Anlage rund her rum. Das Frühstück kann man nur empfehlen!! Abwechslungsreich und lecker. Der hauseigene Parkplatz ist riesig, so daß wirklich jeder Gast einen Platz hat.

Die Lage am Ortsrand, mitten in d. Natur bringt schon mal Ruhe u. Entspannung . Frühstücken in einem licht-u. sonnendurchfluteteten Raum u. bei einem vielseitigem Angebot am Buffet war nicht zu toppen. Sehr gut gefiel uns die Möglichkeit tgl. an einem Abendbuffet teilnehmen zu können. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis dabei war im Hinblick auf d. aktuelle Inflation u. das ansprechende , schmackhafte Angebot sehr fair . Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt. Positiv zu erwähnen ist , daß das Parken am Hotel inklusive ist.

Die Warmwasserversorgung war etwas unbefriedigend, da erst nach längerem Wasserfluß warmes Wasser ankam. Deshalb gestaltet sich der Wasserverbrauch etwas höher, als eigentl. notwendig.

Das Bett war gar nicht gut, Sauberkeit bei Ankunft im Zimmer lies auch zu wünschen übrig und das Personal beim Abend essen geht gar nicht absolut unfreundlich.

Tolle Lage in der Natur. Sehr umfangreiches Frühstücksangebot, allerdings nur Kaffee aus der Thermoskanne. Kostenlose Parkplätze.

Es lag etwas außerhalb vom Ort. Dafür konnte man unmittelbar wandern und in den Wald. Das Frühstück war hervorragend und sehr umfänglich.

Die Ausstattung des Zimmers war ausreichend, bedarf aber Erneuerungen für einen besseren Komfort.

Location is amazing! surrounded by nature, can go directly on to hiking, 20 minute drive to Schloss Wernigerode. Breakfast was superb, plenty of variety for all tastes and really nicely setup. We travelled with our little ones, we had a large room, separate room for the kiddies. The televisions on each room and are modern enough to be able to use any cable for us to watch our own programs. Complimentary water in room (we arrived very late, was grateful to have water to drink). Clean and very comfortable rooms, love no smoking rooms.

I had sent information when I had initially booked that we will be arriving late (I was informed that was not the case but I do have proof of this message). Just for reassurance purposes I had resent message on the day of our arrival again and got a call back right away, and received all details for our arrival (Where our keys would be at, code, room). A concerning feeling, what could have happened if I had not been proactive and re-sent information. I would suggest to the hotel to check-up on guests coming in late, check messages, send an email to customers in case of late arrival, what to do and all details. Everything was ok at the end, no issues... just some awareness.

Breakfast was ok, though not as good as it previously has been. The personnel were good, and the main compensation for other issues. A mix up the first day regarding rooms, but they managed to change to better rooms the second day.

The restaurant was pretty bad. Mediocre buffet food. The food used to be good, when the previous owners had the place. I assume the cook(s) were better then, and one could order a well-prepared meal, unlike now. This will be the reason we may not come back, and we have been there 8 times over the years. The new owner should consider this.

It’s a beautiful location nestled in the Harz National Park. Great for hiking in the woods. The breakfast was excellent with a lot of variety. It’s a bit of a walk into the village (we had already walked 12 miles that day) so we had the dinner there. The Italian buffet is great value if you can eat a lot.

The room we were in was the no smoking section of the hotel. However the smell of cigarette smoke was very much ingrained into the room and furniture and carpet. The decor is confusing… needs a revamp to bring this location to its former glory.

The most important part for us was; Paid extra for at hotel with ONE big bed instead of twinbeds/two singles put together, but didnt get it. Asked for it at reception, but was'nt possible. Then why write it on the bookinginfo?!

Large, clean room. Very nice location in nature. Great value for the money. Very quiet and calm. The staff were very friendly.
