This was a 4 night getaway for my birthday/Father's Day with my 20's something son and daughter. The location was very peaceful, on a quiet road off the main highway. The home was beautifully remodeled (seems very recent) and had everything you could ask for in amenities. You can tell that the owners take extra care to make sure you feel right at home and comfortable. The location is perfect if you like to take quick day trips. 30-40 min to Mall of Georgia, Dahlonega, Helen, and of course Lake Lanier surroundings. Very comfortable for just hanging out watching sports or movies on the 65" TV, or if you like to play games (like we do) plenty of room for that too. Wooded private back yard, great deck for grilling and eating outside, and a wonderful fire pit set up. I would definitely book again at this location. GREAT HOST! Thank you.

Great visit

This property was amazing inside and out. From the first view from the street we knew it would be perfect. The house is spacious with an open floor plan. It appears to be professionally decorated. Very pretty, comfortable furnishings. And all so very clean. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you might possibly need. New cookware and a fully stocked pantry. The master bedroom was a beautiful oasis and the bed was so comfortable. Bathrooms were fully furnished with thick fluffy towels. Having a washer and dryer is always a plus when traveling. And then there was the outside where we spent most of our time. The yard is huge and very private. Fencing on one side and woods on the other. The firepit and chairs in the yard are a fun way to spend the evenings. Also the deck with its table and chair and cooking area and chiminea provided a great place to eat outside and just to relax. So lots of space inside and out. We have family in the area and they were close by so were able to come over and enjoy the firepit with us. It is very close to the lake and park. The hosts were very responsive and went above and beyond with this VRBO to make it so enjoyable. We have stayed all over the US, Canada and England in VRBO and this has to be one of the nicest we have stayed in. Thank you Rachel and Tom. We will be back.
