We lived in Long Beach 30+ years ago and decided to have our reunion (12 of us!) back in our favorite beach town. The house was perfect for our needs. 7 bedrooms and two living rooms - one on each level. The location was GREAT for restaurants, train station, beach and boardwalk. The house was clean and the owner responded immediately to the few little ‘blips’ we encountered! Cons: too much ‘stuff’ in kitchen cabinets - no room to unpack! Tough parking for a big group! Wish we had more beach passes and beach towels! Great Long Beach guide book for first timers. We would do it again! Thank you..

We were 9 adults ranging between 35 and a young 73, all family, staying together, seeing other family for a holiday reunion. I had booked before the latest review and was worried when I read it. When we walked in I thought that there was a strange smell in the front of the house, and I let the owner know. She immediately offered to have the cleaning person return to see if there was anything that she could do about it. But my husband thought that it was just cleaning products, I didn't smell it anywhere else, and no one else in the group mentioned it. I didn't seem to notice it anymore after the first night. So that quickly became a non-issue. Everyone in the group thought the house was a great choice. Lot's of space, very clean, lots of bathrooms - a big plus! - and very good location - about 6 blocks from the beach. The overall appointment of the house was also very good. Nicely decorated, good kitchen supplies, etc. We had some very minor confusion about checking in, but the owner tried to be very responsive and all went fine. I felt the owner was trying hard to make sure that everything went well. I would definitely rent this house again, and strongly recommend it.

Absolutely awful. We came to Long Beach for a family wedding and had wanted to leave immediately but had nowhere else to go with 8 of us. The place smells like urine/pets. Many issues with dangerous hazards, including loose balcony fence and exposed wires. No window coverings on most windows and no screens on some windows. Nails sticking out of the floor. Dryer door had no handle. There was mold in the coffee grinds that were left in the coff maker…Disgusting

Wonderful home and lots of space, located literally in the middle of everything you would want to do in Long Beach, or walk to the Metro and take the train into NYC. We even walked about 5 min to a public ice skating rink or 5 min the other way to great restaurants and The Laurel Diner that was delicious. Host was wonderful, attentive and quick with communication. Would highly recommend.

The house was great and very comfortable. There was plenty of space and things to do. Loved staying here and will be back again!

Perfect for our extended family, with the 2 levels and lower family room. Great location to shops, beach, and train. The beach passes and beach supplies, and kid games were an added plus! Well stocked, appreciated not having to run out and buy supplies. Would stay there again!
