We stayed for 3 nights. There is a hangout stop closeby. Would recommend renting a car... We did not and getting around to our activities via taxi and public bus were a hassle. There is parking inside. The host checked in with us, to ensure the visit was going well and offered recommendations on places to visit.

I had a very enjoyable stay at De Plantage. It is very clean and neat, well appointed, and secluded yet easy to find. There is a grocery market nearby where you can also get a SIM card if needed.

Not a very big but resort but a nice place to stay. A car is recommended @ this place, but is recommended in curaçao anyways. Nice owner and the apartments are pleasant to enjoy your vacation. Even the pool (which is almost a private pool) is big enough to jump in anytime. There is only 1 time a week cleaningservice and the only thing missing in the appartments is a spot to chill and lay down. Enjoy your stay!

This place could have been a gem if run correctly! The rate gets you hooked but they don't tell you about the "conditions" until you get there! It's hard to enjoy yourself if you constantly have to worry about how much water and electricity you use! Yes that's correct, if you go over the required amount, you will get charged! You get one roll of toilet tissue and when that runs out, their instructions are for you to go out and buy your own after that! They offer AC but it's ONLY in the bedroom and even then you have to put it on about an hour before you go to bed so it'll be cool enough to sleep! The rest of the unit is like a furnace! The fan in the living room just circulates the hot air! If you don't rent a car, you'll be out of luck because there's nothing around within walking distance! Do yourself a favor and choose a more established hotel...paying the extra for a more peace of mind will be worth it!
