I travel a lot. The Hanover unit has got to be the cleanest, modern and safe hotels I've stayed in. The staff were so helpful in any request I had.

This hotel is amazing. Everything from the floors to the ceilings to all the furnishings were done with the best taste and consistency with the time period of the building. I couldn't believe the room had a full kitchen and a washer and dryer in addition to the living space and sleeping areas.

This Room was amazing and was so beautiful on the inside. I didnt want to leave and had a very good time and everything was in walking distance and the roof top lounge was very nice and relaxed atmosphere

I don’t know where to begin… not only did I feel SAFE, I felt comfortable. The room they gave me was so cute, clean, comfy, I never wanted to leave. The staff was so kind, but the morning lady was such a joy to talk to. She gave great food recommendations, and she was just an absolute gem. If you get the chance to come to Brunswick, GA and your choice should be the Kress! It feels like home away from home, and you get so much with your stay! I hope to be able to come back because this place was a true dream

Beautiful hotel and room became a deceiving space at night. This was our last stop on a 2 week trip we were looking forward to. (first time visiting Brunswick) We stayed in the Gloucester room, the "only room subject to a serious noise issue", according to the front desk staff. (learned upon checkout) There is even a noise machine with a placard saying it is provided to help with the "neighbors". After returning from dinner, the bar/eatery (neighbors) next door, the noise level escalated until after midnight. The walls are thin enough that we could hear full conversations, music, kitchen staff, etc. Ear plugs and the noise machine did nothing to help the issue. We are frustrated that the hotel is aware of this issue and didn't provide another room as an option and we were charged the full rate for an unacceptable accommodation.

We arrived early and they allowed us to check in. You must ring a bell for them to open the door as the building is very secure. Getting to the unit is a bit confusing, so after checking we were escorted to the unit and familiarized with all it's perks. Wonderful place. It was pouring rain when we went to leave and since the entry is not under cover, they allowed us a late checkout so we would not get soaked.
Incredible Loft with 1 BR and 1.5 baths and and upstairs loft seating area/den. Luxury Robes. Huge, well stocked kitchen. Full size laundry. Huge and comfortable living room with sofa and leather chairs and footstools/seats. We really didn't want to leave the unit it was so breathtaking. I stood in the middle of the room and said over and over....I'm not leaving. It was awesome!!!!
We did leave to go to the bar on the 3rd floor. We had drinks and chatted with other patrons and the friendly bar staff.

Extraordinary rooms. You have to see it yourself to understand. Fantastic wine bar down the street called Newcastle Wine Merchant and breakfast at Schroeders is a must.

Each room is actually a full service apartment, min. 1200 sq ft. Newly renovated, it was beautiful. The microwave didn't work but Nathan went out and bought an electric kettle for the unit. The downtown location was so convenient for us to attend The Elvis Tribute Festival over the weekend. Jackie and staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Our stay was great! We stayed at the Kress to celebrate my husband’s 64th birthday. He was totally surprised when we walked into our suite. The decor was nice and everything was very clean and comfy. The tall ceilings and exposed brick made the suite feel like you were in a New York City apartment rather than downtown Brunswick, GA. We really enjoyed the restaurants that were within walking distance of the hotel. It was St. Patrick’s Day weekend so there were a lot of extra things to do. We plan to return next year.
