Number 1 asset of this hotel is the staff. The whole team from the restaurant and breakfast was just amazing, especially Sergio who saved our trip with his travel advices as the weather was horrible during our stay. A plus for the football fans are the nice souvenirs displayed at the hotel. The food at the hotel restaurant was very good and prices were fair. Breakfast was very nice, only thing missing for me were some fresh vegetables like tomatoes, cucumbers and some fresh fruits( it was only offered an already prepared fruit salad).

The bathroom in our room(112) definitely needed to be repainted as the ceiling was full of mold and cracks from the humidity. It was the first time in a hotel, especially a 4 star one, where we were not offered some coffee option in the room, not even some basic instant coffee, even though we nicely asked about it. Cleaning ladies start their work before 8!!! As the sound isolation is very poor and you can hear everything, this means you need to wake up during your vacation at that time as well. Is really frustrating.

The restaurant and top chef! Excellent dinner and good value. Very reasonable prices. And the desserts are wonderful. Also fantastic breakfast, with home made breads and cakes top quality local produce. Will definitely be back. . All the staff we're very professional and very friendly too.

Our stay at this hotel was very disappointing. First, I would recommend you DO NOT BOOK ANY SPA TREATMENTS! It's a waste of time and money. We ordered several spa treatments, all of which were unprofessional and disappointing, the worst I've ever got. All treatments were done by the same lady who honestly seemed like she had absolutely no experience in any of them. The massages were awful, she basically just rubbed oil on my partner and I without applying any pressure. That is NOT a massage. Extremely disappointing. The so-called "anti aging facial treatment" was just her putting generic creams on my face and wiping them off with no explanation. No peeling masks. Nothing that was actually beneficial or effective in any way. I felt older after her treatment rather than younger. It was the worst facial treatment I had ever gotten and I couldn't believe I had to pay for something so awful. The pedicure was less than 5 minutes, very unprofessional and not worth a dime. Overall, a horrible experience at the spa, it was a waste of time and money. The restaurant during the evening was also disappointing, I sent back 3 different dishes because they were simply not good at all. Other things that bothered us: There's no hair conditioner in the room. No complementary water bottles- you have to pay if you want to drink water. Seems very unattentive. We were also told by the reception that we could not store anything in the mini bar in our room... My partner is a diabetic and he had to store his insulin pens in the mini bar. Again, it was very inconsiderate of the staff not to allow him to do so. We told the receptionist about our horrible experience at the spa- she did not attempt to compensate us in any way but simply said it was the first time they had ever heard a complaint about the spa... Which is VERY unlikely. Once again, one woman did ALL treatments and all of them were awful.

Dinner at the hotel is really very good. We can only recommend to try this. The staff was also very friendly in the evening. Everything in the hotel is very clean and tidy. The lady at the reception helped us with our excursion and found out trains. The hotel has a good location for trips to the surrounding area. In summer, the beach location is certainly super. For 15 euros you can take a cab to the train station and from there you can make many excursions by train.

There is a serious difference in quality between breakfast and dinner. The dinner is top. Breakfast, on the other hand, is simply not okay. But this is mainly due to the organization. The staff was uncoordinated and we had to ask every time to refill things. Please refill the water, there is no more bread. The plates were completely wet most of the time. The cook in such a hotel must see, the eggs are empty, the bread is empty. If you then order something more, 2 eggs are brought and the rest of the guests again have no eggs in the bowl. Unfortunately, the staff does not work in advance. The buffet is also unfortunately not labeled, you unfortunately do not know what it is. This is part of it. labeling jam and juices. Unfortunately, there are no vegetables for breakfast. Tomatoes, cucumbers, etc. are missing. There are almost only sweets for breakfast. The scrambled eggs have been a single mush. The hotel is clean and tidy and the staff is very nice. but the breakfast needs a conceptual overhaul. The flushing of the toilet in the neighboring room ran the entire night and thus there was a noise in our whole room. The handle of the bathroom door squeaked so loudly, everyone in the room woke up when you closed it. I noted this after the 1st night at the reception and unfortunately no one took care of it. A little oil in the handle and the problem would have been solved. In the gym outside you get completely bitten by mosquitoes. Its nice to train outside, but afterwards you have mosquitos bites everywhere.

A hidden gem, discovered by chance. Very nice, comfortable room with balcony, nice private park for a short stroll around or for a workout in a semi-outdoor gym. Great breakfast.

It would be nice to state in the property description that sauna attracts extra charge.

A beautiful hotel with very nicely furnished rooms and easy parking. Breakfast had an excellent choice of savoury and sweet items served on the deck by the pool.

High end 4* hotel. Everything was excellent, we had one of the 2nd level suites and it was perfect for us, large room and a lovely terrace. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is convenient especially for those with a car, parking on site. Spa, pool, playground and on-site restaurant are a plus. Highly recommended and would definitely return.

Although the breakfast had many options and everything was fresh and tasty, we would’ve liked a few more crudités for breakfast (just a plate with cucumbers, sweet peppers, tomatoes etc). But otherwise there were many options for pastries, very tasty scrambled eggs, cold/warm meat, fruit etc.

The Hotel Stella Della Versilia is a bit hidden in the second street from the boulevard along the beach, about 1 km from the center of Massa di Marina, and only 200 m from the beach. It is surrounded by a beautiful small park with a small fitness facility and sunbeds spread over the park. Our room (a suite) was very spacious and had all the 4-star comfort you would expect. Style is maybe more important than functionality, but everything is well-maintained, working and modern. Beds are great, and it is really silent at night. The hotel offers a small spa, an outside pool with limited size, a bar and a nice restaurant with surprisingly good cooking. The choice of dishes is somewhat limited, but food is fresh and prices are fair. Staff is really very helpful, friendly and service-oriented, and that is a big plus. The hotel is owned by the Buffon family (one of the greatest goalkeepers of all time), and there are memorabilia of his career in several areas. It provides an excellent base for a holiday at the coast, both for couples and families with young children. There is a free large monitored parking place with a separate entrance, so no need to worry about parking your car.

Peacefulness, The full setup, Dinner by the pool, Our suite was just next to the pool with our own entrance, extremely clean room and same all around. Gym in the open Air. Food was very good and the staff very much so friendly 😊

garden and pool area beautifully designed with sufficient seating areas for privacy .meals served in beautiful restaurant space and if weather permits you can eat outside in the garden adjacent to the pool.all furnishings and fixtures throughout the hotel are of the very highest quality with everything provided for your comfort .very welcoming , friendly and efficient staff

Staff great, breakfast superb!! Not really near "anything" but the site and what you had onsite was all we needed. Did not have dinner there but regretted it, went to very bad place by the beach... came back when restaurant was closing at Stella but they served us small dish with meat, cheeses and more - that was very good. Swimmingpool very good, onsite bench good and big garden with benches. Good bar onsite also... think good option for 2-3 days vacation. Recommended hotel.

The air condition in the room was haunted 😅 always on full power, too much noise to sleep. Turned on after being turned off multiple times and ended up having reception turning it off for good (sleep in heat rather then no sleep).

streets to the hotel are very narrow and difficult if it is a busy time
