Makin' Memories was an awesome house. It was much bigger than we anticipated. The pool was huge. There were so many little places to go in the house. Very spacious. The kitchen was well stocked, wish there were outlets on the island, but that was okay. I would suggest bringing bug spray. Those little critters can ruin the party outside at nighttime. We ended up buying bug spray and sprayed the perimeter of the outside area when we were playing cornhole, that helped a lot. The owners were very communitive during check-in and during the week. There are lots of trash cans but could use two recyclable bins instead of one. Great house would totally recommend it and would stay there again. Thank you!

Makin memories is a nice rental. Definitely make some great memories at the property. We have stayed there on numerous occasions. Plenty of space for two families. Great communication with the property manager and very responsive.

Rental fit our needs. Nice quiet location. Only issue is that property is dated and could use some TLC to improve it.

This was our 2nd year vacationing with almost the whole family. Perfect location! So much to do from game room, pool, beach, paddle boarding and kayaking, large tables for game playing …
We will never forget this vacation since our niece’s boyfriend proposed to her during family picture time on the beach!

The house is big enough to fit a large group of people. Having three dishwashers and two washers/dryers was a plus. Communication with property manager was great. Unfortunately, we had an accident involving our teenager kids and had to cut our trip short.

My family came in from all over the US to be together for my mother’s funeral. We were able to give everyone their own room and have beds to spare. We had a few issues with their pool company, but their Maintenance man was on top of it. Any issues with their pool are not their fault. They are working hard to get issues resolved as they are fairly new owners. They really care and want you to have a good experience. The game room is an incredible perk. Kitchen is perfect size for a lot of people to eat in. Daughter and son in law loved kayaking. If you have an issue, just give them a chance and it is handled. Good people.

House was great. Our 50th anniversary, host left bottle of champagne and note (so sweet)It needs some upgrade: pool liner, sliding door screens, AC unit went out on day 1 in 90 degree weather but the response from Kevin PM was fast and it was repaired quickly.

We loved the location! Kevin was amazing to deal with. Loved the game room, being on the canal and the paddle boards and kayak, being able to eat together, screened in front porch and the pool (had issues with the pool but Kevin was amazing and got them taken care of. Not the best service from pool company). Hoping to stay there again!

The property manager, Kevin, was fantastic to deal with. Unfortunately, we had several reasons to reach out to him. When we arrived, there were toys and sand in the pool and the grass looked like it hadn’t been cut in a couple of weeks. The pool guy arrived a few hours after we did but we never saw him again all week. The last 2 days of our stay, the pool looked like bay water. It was so dark from all the algae, we couldn’t even get in the water.
The lawn care people arrived on our 3rd day but didn’t cut all of the grassy areas. We saw a couple snakes in the high grass.
The AC stopped working on the 3rd floor and it was 89 degrees in the bedroom. Kevin took immediate action and it was fixed within a few hours.
Overall, the house was fine, but for the money we paid for the week, we should not have had so many problems.
