Wonderful location, close to the beach and hours spent on the inter coastal pier. Wonderful view of many 4th of July fireworks displays from the dock. Owners are ver responsive and accommodating. House is well equipped and comfortable.

We had such a great time at your house in Holden Beach! We thoroughly enjoyed the boardwalk to the ICW! It was easy to get to the beach also! Kitchen was supplied with many needed items. If you need a suggestion, a meat platter would be helpful. The place was spotless and the pack and play and booster seat were very much appreciated! Holden Beach is a beautiful family beach!! Mike was very responsive to my inquiries. We loved staying at this property. It is set at the end of the island (less traffic). The house layout was great for us. It is spacious and best of all - it is not cluttered. The kitchen is well stocked and functional. Nice gas grill and picnic table under house. The walk to the beach is short and access to ICW dock for fishing and crabbing!

This was our second time staying at this location, first with the new owner. The house was perfectly clean upon our arrival. The kitchen has everything you would need. The loft at the top of the stairs was perfect for our teenage children to have their own space. We loved our time on the decks of this beautiful house. The pier to the waterway was used daily and we met some very friendly families (fellow travelers as well as locals). The beach is a short walk from the house with a ramped boardwalk over the dunes at the end of the street. This week I was able to see turtle tracks for the first time (unfortunately it turned out to be a false crawl), find a sand dollar in the surf and found many sea biscuits and small conch shells. It was a fabulous week and can’t wait to come back.

The location and home were just lovely. Normally with young kids, they have a hard time adjusting to sleeping in a new place but this home was just perfectly comfortable that both my children slept wonderfully. In fact our whole family did. The access to the boardwalk on the waterway was great for my children to have freedom to explore and we loved watching the birds and crabs! The access to the beach was a short walk and the beaches were filled with beautiful sea shells and sand dollars! Everyone we met was so friendly! We look forward to making it a yearly family trip!

Really liked location to beach and walkway to waterway. Nice size bedrooms and bathrooms! Plus extra 1/2 bath on first floor. Nice house- I would stay there again!

House is in a great location. Love you can get to the marsh and beach easy. Home is comfortable, spacious, and has a well stocked kitchen. This is our second stay at this house and will be back in the fall.

We had this house and 1125 on the ocean. two of our families, (parents and children) used this house. We were able to get all 22 family members in the two. The hidden benefit is the walkway in the marsh. Our "crabbers" really enjoyed it and one youth caught a small flounder. Lookinf forward to next year.

We loved this house. We had a great time and the beach was only a short walk away. This house also has access to the intercostal waterway, that was nice for fishing. Would definitely recommend.

Our family has been coming to Holden for 18 years- most of it renting the same house.Unfortunately that house sold and is no longer rented. This new (to us) house was perfect for our family of 11. Very clean and tastefully decorated. We love the fact that the kitchen was equipped with just about everything you need to cook meals for our large family. The quality of the dishes, pots, pans, utensils etc was better than any beach house we have ever rented. Our family enjoyed the location. We have been used to a beach view but the marsh was stunning and the short walk to the beach provided us with the best of both. Thank you A J and Courtney for sharyyour lovely home ❤️

We enjoyed our stay here! The house was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The marsh views were great and access to the pier was nice for the day we rented a boat. The walk to the beach was quick and easy. I loved sitting on the screened in porch to have my morning coffee.

This property was amazing from the moment we first entered. The house was immaculate. The owner even leaves a welcome station with beginning supplies and even cute koozies with the house name on it. Although the home is a short walk from the beach you don’t even care because you are literally right at the gate to the beautiful neighborhood pier over the intercoastal waterway. We traveled with our children age 20, 16 and 14 and our youngest also brought a friend. The bunk room was perfect for the younger girls and we actually took the downstairs master as our room so the kids could have the upper space to themselves. There are two front decks that were enjoyed by all but the house also has an amazing back screened deck that we loved spending time on. The upper living space had games that the kids played in the evening. The kitchen was well stocked and we visited the local fish market several times making seafood feasts for dinner. The closet below the house was an added bonus with beach stuff (this was a nice touch as many houses we’ve rented didn’t have that). This house is definitely one our entire family would love to come back to.

The house was clean, well equiped, spacious and the BEST location. Quick 4 minute walk to the beach (super easy with our kids ages 6-12) and private intercoastal access. Can't wait to come back! A little further down, from the restaurant scene, only about a 10 minute drive but we preferred it that way.

We had the best time staying here. Clean, comfortable and great location. You are short walk to the beach and also have a dock that you can access. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!

Very nice house, clean and modern design. All housewares and amenities were well taken care of. The distance to the beach is a short walk. Only small thing was that we had to run and empty the dishwasher before we left. Overall very nice experience. Thanks

Our family had a wonderful, relaxing stay at this property. The check-in process was as smooth as can be and the hosts were friendly and accommodating. It was easy to walk to the beach and we loved the private dock. The home was super clean and had everything we needed. Our toddler loved swinging in the outdoor hammock! Would definitely return.

House was perfect for our 3 couples. Would be great for a family with kids as well with the bunk bed bedroom. House was very clean and kitchen was well stocked with appliances and accessories for cooking. Owners were responsive and quick to work with. Loved the access to the pier that led to the inter-coastal waterway. Great stay overall!

Our family greatly enjoyed our stay at this location! The home was perfectly set up for children and adults. The location was a short walk to the beach and we also loved the boardwalk and pier that overlooked the Inter-coastal Waterway. The outdoor features ( porches, hammock, outdoor shower, quiet paved street, and yard space) were added bonuses, especially for the kids! The house was extremely clean and well organized with everything we needed during our stay. We would highly recommend this location for a family vacation or short getaway!

Our families really enjoyed our stay at After Dune Delight. When we arrived and went inside, everything was perfect. Great location, grandsons really the private boardwalk to ICW. Also, an easy walk to the beach. A wonderful time for our families. Just a great house!!!

Th house was super clean and nicely decorated. Spacious. Location was beautiful with views of the ICW. Short walk to beach (5 minutes) with easy access. Loved the porches. Our family was very comfortable and enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend and we hope to return.

We celebrated our daughter’s wedding at beautiful Lockwood Folly Country Club and thoroughly enjoyed sharing a mini vacation with family who traveled from Arkansas, Florida, and Maryland to join us. The setting overlooking the marsh was fabulous. Holden sunsets are spectacular.

We had a great weekend here--ideal for 2 families with small kids. Plenty of room to spread out, a block or two walk to beach, lovely views of the marsh/ICW.

Short walk to the beach and very nice pier on the ICW. We did try to contact the cleaning contact regarding recycling & revived no response. Family enjoyed the hammock, back deck, kitchen, & large living room tv.

My friends and I rented this property for a weekend trip and everything was great. Check in was easy and convenient, the house was clean and had ample space for everyone, and it was a short walk to the beach access. We will rent again!
