We were in Bowral for a wedding and it accommodated our party of 9 adults very comfortably. The Barn is located in a quiet location close to town, making it the perfect base for exploring the Southern Highlands. The property is very well-equipped, with a cosy fire, dry wood supplied, comfortable living areas, and a well-equipped kitchen. The host, Patsy, was very friendly and helpful, and she went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. We would highly recommend The Barn for any group of up to 10 people looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay in Bowral.

Well appointed and comfortable

The house was simply perfect for a group of 9 people. There were plenty of bathrooms and the pool room was a great hit. The house was incredibly well stocked with everything you need for a house party. Two fabulous dinners including a full Thanksgiving.

The twin room would be fine for kids but not for adults. The poor person using this room hit her head five times as the ceiling was very low. The other issue is the fourth double is accessed via this room so privacy is also an issue. If booking for a house party with all adults I wouldn’t count this room.

Nooks and crannies were fun... we loved the 'thinking room' looking out into the wilderness. Pool table was great. Excellent set up.

The beds were a little bit firm

The location & configuration of the property was perfect for our group to meet. The host was very welcoming & accommodating to all our requests.

The heating was adequate & we were very comfortable, but it would have been nice to have kindling ready for a fire , for the ambience to gather around it. It was great that there were shampoo, conditioner & body wash in the bathrooms, thank you; it would have been even better to also have toothpaste provided.

The location was nice and quiet. Great cosy place to stay.

Great house for a group of friends. Loved the fireplace!
