If beach is what you want go to a different side of the island, Beach is nasty here filled with corals and debree, the floor in the rooms are white so you see all the dirtyness from past guests/usage, since it is to hard to clean the material they made the floors with. no late check out even if you want to pay for it. Service is amazing and the only reason why I would consider coming back but the hotel isn’t nice enough to spend time at. Average hotel at best definitely better options on the island.

Brand new hotel with very modern design in the rooms -- great location - friendly front desk -- all was fine -- the restaurant was not overwhelming aside from the AWESOME sunset views -- menu and service were just OK, maybe I was just expecting a little more upscale there. Otherwise -- very good place.

best hotel on the island in my opinion...beats the over the water shacks. Clean, modern great location , great staff ...we really hated to leave. The restaurant is fantastic as well.

Very Beautiful resort we loved our stay!!

We enjoyed our stay. Large, clean rooms and lovely pool. Beach was small. Lunch & dinner at the restaurant was nice, but breakfast was not good value.

It’s only a year old so nice, newer property. Loved that it felt more intimate than a big resort. Highly recommend the upper floor. Nice views of Cooks Bay. Loved having a little kitchenette area and nice balcony. Staff was so friendly and accommodating. Small private beach but really quiet. We ate twice in the restaurant…not overly impressed with the food but the vibe was really nice. We came to realize food was just more under-seasoned than what we are used to here in the states. The locals said this is the nicest place to stay on the more affordable side. Loved it!

Nice, clean new hotel. Expensive as Hell. Be prepared to open your wallet. Wide.

The view is astonishing! We loved the location on the bay and we saw so many fish in the sea right from the beach. At night we would watch an octopus camoflage and then glow bioluminescent from the bridge to the restaurant. It was magical.

Would definitely like to go back. Gracious staff and lovely setting.

Cook's Bay Hotel & Suites is simply stunning. Could not ask for a better stay in Moorea, it is set in a fantastic location with beautiful and breathtaking views. The staff are super friendly and most helpful and the restaurant dining is one of the best rated on the island. Look forward to booking our next stay soon. Would highly recommend!

The hôtel was very good. We ate at the Cook's restaurant and I'll write a separate review as the food was good but the service arrogant and disrespectful.

This is an absolutely amazing hotel in a beautiful location with easy access to tours. The resaurant is the best we experienced in our 2 weeks in Tahiti and the service of the staff showed that they are absolutely committed to guests enjoyment. The added benefit was that the Moorea Miti snorkelling tour (which was a really quality tour) picks up at the wharf right next door.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay (extended two more days). From the staff to the accommodations to the restaurant and food, we fully enjoyed our time. Whether you want to venture out or just relax at the pool and hotel front beach, this is your place to go. Thank you to the wonderful Cooks Bay team.

The hotel is located in a beautiful setting with outstanding views of the ocean and Cooks Bay. The morning breakfast service was excellent and served in a timely fashion. The evening dining service was very slow, but the food was good. We enjoyed the pool area and beach which has plenty of seating and never overcrowded even though the hotel was full. We will definitely return!

Fresh and clean with good swimming and facilities

Loved the area and the property. The Hotel needs to establish a few rules around the pool and post them - Quiet time hours , no children left without supervision and designated smoking areas . We would stay again the suites are very comfortable and we really enjoyed the ocean view and a beautiful happy hour at Le Cooks . Pool and beach area is really nice with very nice patio furniture. All in all a amazing place for the price

This property was clean, beautiful and the staff were amazing! The staff helped us rent e-bikes and use the hotel kayaks available. They also arranged taxis for us and answered all our questions about the island. The hotel was comfortable and relaxing, with a great location that’s 10-15 minutes walk from restaurants and stores. Would definitely recommend and we will be staying again!

A small but modern resort. Not crowded, plenty of poolside seating, good restaurant and modern updated rooms.Staff was also very friendly.

The hotel location is beautiful, the room is designed well including a small useful kitchen, the pool is great, parking easy, and the staff very friendly.

New and very modern property with beautiful views of the ocean as well as the mountains and Cook's Bay. Fun pool area, with lounge chairs around the pool and also facing the ocean. Great restaurant. Wonderful staff! We stayed in the 2 bedroom unit on the 1st floor and loved the indoor and outdoor space.

This is a beautiful property near a couple of good street side restaurants. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Free parking, nice restaurant, and pool overlooking the bay.

The Cooks Bay Hotel lived up to the strong ratings. Beautiful property, comfortable room, great amenities, and exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. The location was top notch. In particular, it was a great place to stay while also having a rental car. You wouldn’t really need to leave the property, but we enjoyed brief excursions to other nearby beaches, Belvédère viewpoint, and stores/restaurants. I’d return to Moorea and stay at the Cooks Bay Hotel in a heartbeat.

This is a brand new property that is well-designed, in a beautiful location. Staff are friendly and helpful and food is excellent. Very clean, comfortable and has small kitchen. Spent more than a week here, highly recommend if going to Moorea.

Nice new hotel and friendly staff. Unfortunately, there were two minor faults: 1.) The first two days the coffee (espresso) in the restaurant was excellent. Then its quality dropped... no crema. The young lady did her best, but it was obvious that her level of education was not enough to solve this problem. 2.) On departure, I asked if we could have check-out an hour later, at 12:00 instead of 11:00. This was refused, even though the hotel was empty.... Strange, for a hotel of this level, but whatever. Normally I would have given 4 stars instead of 5... but this time I was more lenient. However, the service should match the price. So I hope the staff will get trained.

Very nice hotel in Moorea with EXCELLENT food (probably the beat on the island). Highlights: Friendly staff, spacious rooms (we had a mini suite for 7 nights), nice pool, beautiful setting, easy parking during our stay. Bryan at the front excellent was great, the staff at Le Cook restaurant were awesome and so positive. We have enjoyed our discussions with the French crew (Simon and Leo), the Brazilian / Fortaleza Maria as well as the 2 local vahinés Yvette and Liane. The only lowlights (and they were minor) - as the hotel got full and given the close proximity to the pool, it was not pleasant to be woken-up (on the last 2 nights) by 2 obnoxious kids yelling before the am for at least 45 minutes. No real beach access and cannot get out in the water unless you plunge on the choppy side of the hotel / near the restaurant. In recap, exceptional hotel, super clean too , best food, professional yet friendly staff. A no brainer if you want to spend a few days or weeks on the island.
