The apartment was adorable. Looked to be recently remodeled. Very nice furnishings and very tastefully decorated. Super clean. More amenities than we needed as we didn’t cook or wash clothes or have a car to park. This apartment is more suited for a longer stay instead of just overnight. I chose this place because it was within walking distance to the cruise terminal the next morning.

The total price was higher than I would normally pay but there were four of us so we would have needed two hotel rooms so I guess it evened out. Three of us are elderly with heavy luggage and it would have been quite the struggle to get the bags up and down the steep, narrow flight of stairs but fortunately my 34 year old strong daughter was with us to do the heavy lifting otherwise it would have been extremely difficult and perhaps injurious.

Was so close to 1894 Grand theater, we just walked to the play. So fun when things are just right. We will be back.

Did not realize there would be a 1 floor stair climb in both front and back. If that was mentioned in the original listing, I missed it. We can navigate that but would not have been able to include my mother, for instance.

The loft was very private, clean, practical and homey. Owner emails clear instructions days before first night of stay, very straight forward. I loved the gated and private parking, walking distance of many bars and kitchens. I stayed with my spouse and small child; it was just what we needed after a long day at the beach. A personal retreat.

No cons, complaints or issues. I can't think of one bad feature, well unless you have a problem with stairs, besides that nothing. Loved my stay.

Much closer to the Strand area than I had realized on booking. I also liked the private parking in the rear alleyway, so my vehicle wasn't on the street overnight.

Some of the information about the room was misleading on the booking.com site, but I contacted the owner, and he was able to better inform me. I hope he was able to make the necessary changes for future guests.
