I had slightly higher expectations before arriving at the hotel. The check-in staff were fine, but I was hoping for a bit more of that Southern hospitality. When we got to our room, we noticed a lot of noise from the road, so we went back down to request a room change, which they handled without any issues—this was fantastic. The room itself was quite nice, with a very comfortable bed, though the bathroom was a bit small but functional. I also want to highlight the number and quality of the towels, which were excellent. Unfortunately, we didn’t enjoy the breakfast much. It was impossible to avoid single-use plastic, which, as Europeans, we find difficult due to the amount of waste it generates. The dining area also felt a bit drab and uninviting. Another downside was the housekeeping. Despite requesting, confirming, and leaving the sign on the door for daily cleaning, we returned one evening to find that no one had come to clean the room, which was disappointing.

Hotel staff were very good. Hotel was clean. The breakfast provided was good. Some items were not hot (actually cold). Notified staff and they immediately corrected. Definitely will stay here again when visiting family.

Clean, quiet, nice check in

Everything was fine until we went to bed, dog hair all over the bedsheets and we don’t have a dog… we called down and we had to go get the bedsheets from the desk and change the bed ourselves. There were a lot of breakfast options but it was messy and tight when there is a lot of people there. One guy was working very hard to try to keep up and the other two ladies were just talking to each other and looking at their phones.

Looks newly built or renovated modern interior with traditional outer look.

If you stay at this hotel, do not let them give you room 125 which shares a wall with the kitchen and is just across the hall from the pool area. Lots of thudding. I should have asked for another room.

Staff was welcoming! Our room was on the second floor which butted up to the back parking lot. We believe after all the rain we had that the carpet got wet cause the entrance had a little musty smell but our room did not. Our room was modern, clean and spacious.

Nice updated rooms. However road traffic is loud and air conditioner is on or off and runs in fits and starts

Very clean very nice staff great breakfast lots of shopping around the area close to the Blue Ridge Parkway close to grandfather. It was just close to everything very convenient location.

Second time I’ve stopped by. Nice place! It’s clean, warmth and comfortable. Personal is nice. Love the breakfast, lots of choices. Definitely a place to stop by.

Check in was easy. The room was clean and quiet and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good - they had a few healthy options which was nice. All of the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel was fine. A bit overpriced for the room. There was a really bad smell in the bathroom the whole time I was there. I bought Lysol to make it a little better. The room was also very damp. Left my clothes and papers wet to the touch. But I slept comfortably and it was quiet. The staff were friendly

Just ok. The rooms have been renovated but the hallway carpets are stained and smell. Our room was mostly clean.

The hotel was clean. Parking was simple and no extra charges which was nice. There was a little complementary tea and coffee station in the lobby which was welcome after a 12-hour drive to be able to settle in with a hot cup of tea before bed. Loved the Peloton in the room. The window was a little odd bc it overlooked the interior of the hotel to the breakfast room below. And sadly, although I liked this hotel, I found the bed to be pretty uncomfortable.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The staff were helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and we had everything we needed. Many good restaurants close by and lots to see in the area. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Great, convenient location. We were in town for just one night, and this was a lovely hotel (clean, comfy, friendly staff). The breakfast buffet had lots of variety, so everyone in the family found something to eat.

We loved the quiet, modern, comfortable, and well-appointed rooms. We had everything we needed in our room and did not have to ask for anything - very rare. We also did not have to hunt for electrical outlets and charging ports - there were plenty. Even though we were surrounded by other occupants, we rarely and barely heard them. Breakfast was very good and much appreciated. Staff was friendly and helpful. My only suggestion involves first impressions. The carpet in the hallway when exiting the elevators left, on the third floor, either needs cleaning or replacing. It looks cheap, stained, and worn. I thought for a few moments we had made a big mistake in our lodging choice. It just does not fit the vibe or decor of this hotel.
