Had a great time here!

House was beautiful, plenty of room, and 3 bathrooms was a plus!! Everything you need and more as far as towels, toiletries etc. Cleaning staff needs to pay a little more attention to under beds and kitchen table. Being pet friendly, hair flew out as soon as we turned on the fans. We did not bring a pet. Would absolutely stay again!

We had a great time at this house. The house is in a great location and is stocked with all possible items you need or may have forgotton to pack. House was very clean upon arrival. We would definitely stay here again!

This beautiful beach front home exceeded our expectations in every way. Pet-friendly homes often look worn or have cheap furnishing, but Steps By the Sea was exceptional. It was super clean, beautifully decorated and obvious that no expense was spared in the recent remodel. We loved the furniture, full size modern appliances, kitchen cabinets, dishes, cooking utensils, countertops, bathroom fixtures, vanities, tile work, flooring, etc.. Attention to detail in furnishings was amazing...motion-detector nightlights, numerous electrical outlets, plenty of beach towels, beach chairs, sun canopy, beach toys, dog pen, deck chairs and tables, etc.. They thought of everything! Wish we could have stayed longer!

This place was just as described and then some. The house was lovely, and all of the amenities were thoughtfully provided. Great linens, lots of towels, plenty of seating, a well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and plenty of porch perches for enjoying the day off of the sand while still being close enough to hear the sound of the surf. The host was very responsive to all questions, and we were so glad that we stayed here. Would recommend to others without hesitation!

I fell in love with this house ! Had everything you can need ! I will definitely be staying here again . Ours dog Mia even had a bath and shampoo and towels were available . 11/10 😍👍😎😀

This has been the best home I have ever stayed in while on vacation. I wasn’t walking into to a house that I had to prepare for my family. All linens and towels were supplied and I was blown away by the quality. I can’t talk about the kitchen enough….. there was NOTHING missing!!!! Any utensil, bowl, pot or pan that you needed was supplied. This home even had a spice drawer with Vanilla I might add. Pleasantly surprised!!!! Literally we needed nothing. There were beach chairs, towels, games and boogey boards for the kids in the storage room under the house. I can't forget to mention all the laundry and dishwasher supplies are provided as well. BUT…… MOST IMPORTANTLY….this house was gorgeous!!! An amazing island in the kitchen that allowed all my family to gather together at dinner time and game time, which by the way, games are also provided. There was shiplap throughout the house and the decor was simply phenomenal. Absolutely stunning!!!! All of these details when combined together is what brings this place to life. Its no longer a house….this is welcoming home! Well done Michelle!!!!

Amazing !! Property is exceptional. Perfectly situated on the beach. Has everything you need . Close to town. Beds are super comfortable, sheets towels everything is top notch. Owner responsive and willing to help with anything you need.

The first impression upon entering Steps to the Sea is it is newly renovated and very tastefully decorated. It has a private boardwalk directly to the beach and a convenient outdoor shower to rinse the sand off. This kept most of the sand out of the house... a plus! The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook with including beaters to make a birthday cake. The ocean was a lovely green color and the water was warm. The sand was soft but also firm close to the ocean which made for beautiful walks on the beach at sunrise. The house also accommodated our pet English Bulldog beautifully. We had a great family vacation at this property overall!

We had a wonderful stay and couldn't have felt more at home. The kitchen was fully stocked with absolutely every utensil, pot and pan we could have needed. There was a great assortment beach items including beach toys, towels, chairs, and a sun shade. The house was very clean and well appointed. The owner is communicative and pleasant to work with. Book with confidence!

We have been renting homes at Topsail Beach for over 20 years and we have never been to home that anticipated our every need and exceeded our expectations over and over! Steps to the Sea looks just as beautiful as the photos. The home is exceptionally clean and very well appointed with high quality items. From the pots & pans, knives, spices, charging blocks, paper products… luxurious towels and bedding, and everything you need for the beach! You could literally show up with your suitcase and a cooler and be set! Michelle was incredibly responsive and, friendly, and helpful. We will definitely be back to Steps to the Sea! We were very sad to leave.

Beautiful house with everything we needed. Great cookware and cutlery for cooking in. The owners have spared no expense making sure that their guests have whatever they might need during their stay. We will be back for sure.

This home has it all! The location is perfect, close to Surf City, but with quiet, private beach space that's never crowded. The home is beautifully designed, and filled with thoughtful touches that make you feel at home. The beds are comfortable and the towels are soft, which is a welcome change from the homes that offer rental linens. The kitchen has everything you'll need to cook your favorite meals while looking out over the ocean. There is a large collection of card, dice and board games, suitable for all ages. The large kitchen island is the perfect spot for family meals or game night. The host has provided everything you'll need for the beach (chairs, sun shade, cooler, etc.) The home is just a few doors up from Andrew's Produce stand, so a quick walk for fresh veggies, fruit, baked goods and homemade ice cream was a nice bonus. If I could rate this home with more than 5 stars, I would! I highly recommend this lovely home for a perfect Topsail Island vacation.

You will not be disappointed with this VRBO. Sincerely, the very best I have ever been in. The amenities, decor and cleanliness are all off the charts. Anything you might need is there! The bedding is so very comfortable and soft. The kitchen is appointed at the highest level with a full set of spices and other basic cooking needs. I could go on and on…you will not be disappointed with your stay here!
