We enjoyed our trip and stay at this location! It was great being closer to town, easy shopping downtown or along the Highway! Can’t wait to come back, hopefully sooner rather than later, it is a quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors! Be ready to see pigs, turkeys, peacocks, and a slew of other birds! This location would not be good for those looking to stay up late and make noise, we enjoyed the peace and quiet in the night and bird watching throughout the day

Had a lovely week-long stay at this house recently with family, including kids aged 1-7. The house is clean, spacious, well-appointed and well set up for large groups. Everyone enjoyed their stay. Kitchen is well supplied - we had no issues cooking + preparing the bulk of our meals at the house. The extra pool toys, snorkels, goggles, boogie boards, and beach chairs were a really nice surprise, and made use of the pool and visits to the beaches much more pleasant. Would happily return!

While the photos show what appeared to be a kitchen, it’s fake. There is no oven. An ancient Oster toaster oven is on the counter top. There is no exhaust fan over the cooktop. And the microwave is rusted and melted. I expect an oven when I’m paying the kind of fee required to rent such a property.

We rented this home for us and our kids and grandkids. We had to adjust our dates and the owner made it easy to do. Everyone loved the house. The kitchen had everything you needed. There were beach towels and toys for the kids for the pool. There were awesome beach chairs to bring to the beach along with an umbrella. The master suites were amazing. There was an extra fridge in the garage along with a ping pong table. The location was so close to everything without being in the bustle. We would definitely rent again! The property manager was responsive and was great too!

My son was married in Kona last week and we stayed at this property. It was absolutely magnificent. Very clean, spacious, great location, amazing view, short distance to many beaches and downtown area. Thank you for making this trip so memorable!

We rented this house to celebrate 9 high school friends turning 70 years old in 2022. It was perfect for a week of celebrating. We enjoyed the neighborhood, the view from the pool and we spent a lot of time in the pool. The house was perfect for what we needed. It is easy to book the house, management is very responsive and check in was very easy. We would stay here again!!

Absolutely gorgeous property and gorgeous views. Just as advertised. Kids had an absolute blast everyday in the pool, with lots of available blow-up toys to keep them entertained. The adults could not get enough of watching the views at sunset. Great communication from the host. I can't imagine you will find better!!

This was a great property for a family or friends stay. My husband and I had our 3 daughters and their partners and our 10 month old granddaughter with us. Each couple had their own bedroom and full bathroom! Spacious kitchen and living areas and wonderful pool and deck area. Beautiful sunsets were enjoyed every night. A quiet neighborhood made it a relaxing vacation. Close to town and restaurants and the Kona area. Our only downside was the Iron Man world competition was going on and that made for a lot of people in the area.

E Komo Mai was the perfect retreat for our group of family and friends. The tranquil infinity pool is a highlight, offering refreshment after a day of exploring and reinvigorating us before dining out in the evenings. The modern layout, with an open kitchen, dining, and great room is ideal and allowed all 12 of us to enjoy the space at the same time. The Fleetwood pocket doors seamlessly open the house to the pool and patio area, offering sweeping views of the valley and ocean below. Sunsets here are spectacular! The 5 bedrooms are well-spaced and air-conditioned, allowing for privacy as needed during our stay. With 12 adults, we appreciated having 2 master bedrooms, and the bonus private lanai. The beds, pillows, and bedding are luxuriant and reminiscent of a high-end resort. Lastly, the house was spotless and is located in a quiet, friendly neighborhood, which is close to everything. The reservation and check-in process was easy and the homeowner and property manager were available if we had needed them. We happily recommend the house and would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We had a serious bug problem in one bathroom and the manager did NOTHING to help. She said that this is the tropics and we have bugs. My husband thinks there is a nest. We bought bug spray and washed down the bathroom and still the bugs came back. We never did use that bathroom. We had a problem with the ice maker and she referred us to a website to fix it ourselves. This is unacceptable for the amount that we paid for two weeks, even paying for one extra person who never did stay at the house because four people moved to a hotel because of the bugs and no bathroom to use. The owner said that they would address these issues with the property manager but we never heard anything. House was beautiful but did need maintenance. My husband had to fix a screen which was knocked out after no one came to fix it.

The house is large and worked well for our family. Location was great - minutes from restaurants, shopping and convenient to beaches and airport. The pool was a hit with the kids. The house could use a little TLC (missing screen on second floor lanai, lots of flea-like bugs in the first floor small bathroom and some gorse floor furniture needs replacing.

The house was perfect four our multigenerational stay. Close to town and everyone had their own space.

There were 11 of us in the house and there was plenty of room for all of us to have our own space. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool and ping pong table in the garage. The house was stocked with everything we needed to go to the beach (towels, chairs, boogie boards, coolers, sand toys and more. Jill, the property manager addressed all of our questions / concerns extremely quick and professionally. I would definitely stay here again. We loved it!

The house was just as described and located in a quiet, friendly neighborhood. The house has everything you could need and more! The infiniti pool is the perfect place to watch the most amazing sunsets you will ever see! I highly recommend this property.

We were looking forward to having our son's wedding in Kona and staying at this place as a family. However with all the travel restrictions we had to cancel the wedding. However, Greg was very easy to deal with and made sure we got a refund. Great experience and we hope that we can book this house in the future for our family vacation

Our extended family of 9 (ages 8-74 years old) loved staying in this beautiful vacation home. Location is perfect for a quiet retreat yet within a quick 10 min drive to town/beach. Beautiful view of the ocean from the pool. It was hard to convince the kids to leave the house because they loved being in the pool so much! Well stocked basics- loved the supply of beach towels available. Great floor plan for our large group with a full master bed/bath on bottom floor for the grandparents. Absolutely would stay here again!

The home is beautiful and the view is amazing. All of the ammenities were as described. Bedding was great and we all (11) of us slept very well. Location was perfect in a beautiful neighborhood and convenient to restaurants, shopping, and farmer's market. The property managers were quick to respond if anything was needed. My only suggestions would be to add a fan to the living area. Also the furnishings were nice but were "tired" looking. A refresh would make it a10+ rating. We would definately stay here again.

We had 11 friends and 1 baby. The house was perfect and as described, we even felt like the living room and dining area was larger than expected! The putting area was way larger than expected and perfect for our toddler to play and many yard games. They also had an air mattress in the closet in addition to the many beds in rooms. We loved our view, the pool, and the large property. The kitchen was even more stocked with appliances than expected, but there was only a large toaster oven (fits 9x13 pan I think) but no regular oven. We had some oven meals planned and had to change plans. Overall perfect space for large group or family!

Very nice property, having the pool was the best, great view, comfortable, fun to have the ping pong table and beach chairs, and coolers for outings. Easy drive to Mona. We would stay here again

With a group of 10 family members, it was the PERFECT solution to a holiday together. The house was beautifully decorated and the bedrooms spacious and comfortable. It was amazing to sit out and watch the kids and the sunsets at the infinity pool - was truly an indoor/ outdoor space. The living areas were open and had a great breeze through in the evenings. It is close to almost everything you would need - groceries, beaches etc and is very well stocked already with amenities such as beach chairs, boogie boards. It was very easy to reach the property manager for any concerns. We had a wonderful time!

Loved the house unfortunately with 8 people sharing it was quite the inconvenience with no dishwasher and a pool we couldn't use in the evening. We were promised both things would get fixed the day we got there- a Saturday- and by the time we left neither was fixed. Being on vacation the last thing we wanted to do was wash dishes! The strange thing was that it was a tiny dishwasher and for a house that can accommodate 12 was quite inadequate!!! The infinity pool looks gorgeous in the pictures but when the solar panel was broken it was impossible to use at night. We would be gone all day and expected to relax by the pool however because there was no heat for the pool we could not use it all in the evening . Extremely disappointing!!!! Otherwise the house was beautiful and the rooms were great with minor things like no mirrors in one of the bedrooms and no trash barrels to be found in any of them.

It would be nice to have a larger dishwasher. It was only half the size of a regular one and it did not completely dry the dishes. Also, the small convection oven made do but a normal size oven would have been better.

We loved this property and that is probably an understatement. We were afforded an early check-in as some of our travel group arrived to the island early. The house is very close to town, but also far enough away to not feel touristy. The views from the pool area were outstanding. Everything we needed was there, and when our coffee pot broke, they brought us a new one. Excellent service. Excellent home. I'm happy to recommend it highly.

My family decided to rent a house for our first trip to Hawaii and we couldn't be happier with the choice we made. This home is beautifully built with a modern touch. All 5 rooms were spacious for our party of 10. We spent most of our time outdoors by the pool area which overlooked the beautiful waters of Hawaii. Management as well as the owner were EXTREMELY accommodating.

We absolutely loved this property. The location was ideal. Close to town, but high enough where temps were about 10-degrees cooler making it very comfortable in this open air home. The house is well equipped with most everything you could imagine. Every time we said, "I wonder if they have...", we would open a drawer and there it was... including a high-speed blender, which was perfect for morning smoothies & evening pina coladas. The decor was tastefully done and felt like we were in a relaxing 5-star resort. Lots of water toys to keep you occupied when exploring the island... kayak, boogie boards, pool floats, masks/snorkels. They even provided beach chairs for when you make the trek to the amazing local beaches. The infinity pool was perfect for watching the beautiful Kona sunsets. Our group stayed there for 11 days... and no one wanted to leave. We will definitely be back next year!!

My family enjoyed this home very much. It is well maintained with room for everyone. The pool is the meeting place when the weather is humid. We have five kids, 11 to 15 and four adults 40 to 70. There is something for everyone to do! It's location is great, close to Kailua Kona and not too far to white sandy beaches. The pictures online are very accurate. It is a lovely home and we would love to go back!

This is a great place to stay when your away from home. Very clean and well maintained. Full kitchen and appliances were great because it meant we did not have to eat out every meal. The view was spectacular from almost everywhere in the house and we had our morning coffee sitting on the comfortable chairs by the pool. I would definitely recommend this property to a friend.

I just returned from my First Hawaii trip and enjoyed every minutes of it. For this review, I will just stick to the house. It is relatively a new house. The house was clean and well maintained, it had huge windows that opened all the way creating a wonderful vista, the best of the outdoor/indoor worlds right in my living room. Every morning and early evening, I opened it for fresh air and ran to pool for a refreshing dip. Each room has its own air conditioner so I did not have to hear others telling me if the house was too cold or warm. The house has 7 beds (5 bedrooms) and is more than enough room for 12 people, comfortably. If you get to stay there, you will feel that this house was built by someone who tried to build it with his or her own dream house in mind. Greg, the owner is very attentive and kind. He was quick to respond and tried to make my stay as comfortable as possible. The house is close to Kona downtown (~1mile) but away from noisy city life with a beautiful view of coastline. If I go back to Kona, I would stay here again, the house has a gate (gate is tight so don't drink and drive or you will scratch the rental car) and an alarm for safety and the neighbor seems to be nice. Kitchen is beautiful, well designed cabinets. Greg had prepared the kitchen so we were able to use right away and Costco and Safeway(market) are close! You must try Holy donuts for the morning with 100% Kona Coffee. Greg also did set up a ping-pong table in the garage so my kids could play, which was awesome. I didn't get to use the gas grill but it is there. One more thing, I used a cleaning service, 'a daily refreshing'. I highly recommend it unless cleaning is your hobby.
