Home was perfectly located for us. Layout was great for the family, and the pool was great. Wish the home was cleaner as the walls and ceilings were dirty in some areas around the house. Overall a good experience for us.

Check in was smooth but downhill from there, dishwasher broke, sink leaked all over kitchen floor, broken closet doors, stains on couch, pool not heated until 6th day after two phone calls, inadequate silver ware for the fourteen people that house was supposedly set up for, pots and pans in terrible condition with teflon coming off pans, day 6 coffee maker quit. I called a total of 3 times to Anna Marie Vacation Rentals and out of all those calls we got sink fixed, new coffee maker and day six a heated pool (2 days to swim in a heated pool out of a seven day stay). Phone call 2 and 3 I asked for some kind of compensation and each time I was told I would get a phone call discussing the issue. I'm back home now and I have yet to hear from anyone. I have never in 39 years of Vacation rentals been so disappointed. Anna Marie Island thank you. Anna Marie Vacation Rentals, we will never use you again or recommend you to anyone else.

This house really has so much potential to be great. The location is perfect. We rode our bikes to the beach everyday! And the house was clean! However, after bringing home a ton of groceries for the week, we noticed the refrigerator and freezer in the kitchen were not cold. Like the refrigerator was set to 35 degrees and it was actually 58 degrees. Thankfully, there was a second refrigerator in the garage but totally inconvenient. When maintenance was called, they were VERY FAST with bringing over a rental refrigerator which was very small but allowed us to move some stuff up to the kitchen. The fridge eventually got fixed half way through our week. While the guy was there fixing our fridge, my husband borrowed a tool to tighten up the screws on the bunk beds upstairs because they were ridiculously wobbly. Another issue was the hot tub never worked for us. We had 3 people come to service it and it never worked. It looked pretty gross in there too. Also, one of the slider doors didn’t lock which was a bit unsettling. It did end up getting fixed on day 5 of our 7 day stay. One of the showers on the main floor had poor water pressure. Kitchen was stocked but some of the pots/pans should be retired. I’m still giving 4 stars because the rental company was very responsive, but it was just kind of a bummer to pay a lot of money for the week to have so many things not working. The garage was well stocked with bikes and pool/sand toys. The pool was fun! I would probably stay here again but there may be better options.

Great location; 10 min walk to the gulf, 2 min walk to the bayside. Nice, quiet neighborhood with restaurants and shops very close and walkable. The house was clean and had lots of open space on the main and top floor. The pool area is great. My ONLY gripe is that a few of the appliances were broken upon our arrival - the food disposal and the microwave - but they were both addressed quickly.

Great location, love the pool area! Overall very nice house but could use some TLC including new bedding(mattress), sliding door upgrade, kitchen cookware, kitchen chairs need tighten up, and storage in bedrooms (dressers). We really did enjoy our stay ! Thank you.

We stayed with 2 families and there was plenty of room and privacy. The pool is gorgeous, unfortunately, it is primarily in the shade--which is likely good when in the summer, but it was chilly when we were there--the pool temperature was 84, which was nice (we were there for a cold front in Florida). The pool was clean for us and we had no problems with trash as others mentioned in their reviews. The hot tub did not get hot, it was warm though. There were 6 bikes, but only 2 worked. The location was great--a bit of a walk to the beach, but still wonderful. Close to many shops and restaurants. We had issues that were resolved very quickly with the management company.

This was a very nice house with plenty of room for all. We were very disappointed to arrive and find at least 10 bags of trash in the downstairs game room/garage. It had been there several days and had leaked in the room with an awful smell throughout. We placed a call and were told to just put the bags in the outside trash can. Not acceptable!! We were unable to use the game room for two days. The downstairs commode would not stop running so we called in maintenance for that. The guy that came was very efficient and was kind enough to take the trash with him but this was the second day of our vacation when he came. We also found the pool very cloudy with debris Throughout too and bottom from the plants and trees surrounding the area and also sand on the bottom. We called to report this on the day we arrived and were told that the pool cleaning is only twice a week which happened to be on Mondays and Fridays. The pool company came on Friday while we were out. We came back to find the pool still not suitable for swimming as there was still debris and cloudiness. We have family members with pools at home who agreed it was not acceptable for swimming. Another individual from the pool company came over the next day and added chemicals and changed the filter. It was at this point we felt safe to swim. We have also lost two days of enjoying the pool. A request was made to adjust the price due to losing two days of the game room and the pool. We were told that both situations were taken care of and though we didn’t feel safe swimming in the pool that it would have been fine. No discount was offered but was told we could have a discount the next time we rented from them. We have spent our family vacations on Ana Maria Island at least six times. This was the absolute worst rental we have experienced with no willingness to negotiate when they have slipped below the standard as presented on their internet page . We will not use this company again.

The property was exactly as described. House is big enough for a large group. The pool was perfect...shallow easy access area for little ones, slowly deepening for older kids/adults. Easy walk to the bay, longer walk to the gulf, but very doable. The bikes were used and appreciated, as were the beach supplies. However, the wagons were both in disrepair but it was not a big thing. We had tons of beach towels which was great. The upper deck off the kitchen could use a good cleaning, but again, not a big thing. We'd go back in a heartbeat. Great place to stay. We only had to contact management about the gas grill needing gas, and the response was timely.

This property was amazing! It was the cleanest place we have ever stayed! That speaks a lot for their house keeping, considering it is at the beach and sand is always huge problem. The house was great for hosting a multi family vacation. We had a lot of people there but didn’t feel crowded. The kids loved the bunk bed room! Plenty of bathrooms and the kitchen was open and spacious as well. The pool area was awesome! It was also very well taken care of and the landscaping was beautiful! The shallow end of the pool was perfect for my baby and 2 year old. It helped to relieve a lot of stress associated with kids and a pool. My 11 year old also loved it. There were tons of pool toys/floats, beach toys, bikes and lots of other fun things! Would highly recommend this property to families with children!

Let me start by saying, this house is beautiful. It has a wonderful layout. Great open kitchen, dining, and living area on the first floor. This was great for our group of friends and would be great for groups with kids. There’s even a second living room space on the second floor. Equally, the pool was perfect. We spent quite a bit of time there. You can walk one short block up to a small beach near the historic pier or you can walk about 10 mins the opposite direction to be on the large public beach. So many options. The location was perfect. So many cute businesses and restaurants around. The downsides to the house: 1) The beds are not comfortable. Didn’t matter the room you were in, everyone in the group felt the beds were subpar. 2) The pet fees are inappropriately high. If you’re going to charge such exorbitant fees for pets you should just admit you don’t want people bringing pets and label the house as such. NOT PET FRIENDLY! 3) While the pool was absolutely amazing the hot tub was dirty and had discolored water. Even after filling out the management team’s maintenance request form and asking it to be expedited we were ignored. I don’t recommend using the hot tub. 4) The property management team doesn’t seem to care, so don’t expect a lot from them. Overall we would definitely stay here again but would like to see improvements with the comfort and attention of the property management team.

My family of 14 just stayed at the Light House Lagoon and nobody wanted to leave. I can't say enough about this property. With the 5 bedroom and 3 pull out couches there's plenty of room for a large family. The house was perfect with the very large kitchen and open floor plan where we all could enjoy our time together. Now the pool I can't say enough about. Surrounded by huge coconut palms and tropical plants made you feel like you were in paradise. The very shallow end that gradually went deeper all the way to the other end was perfect for the kids from toddlers up! The built in table and benches were perfect for the adults in our group, no matter what age I couldn't get them out of the pool. The location couldn't be any better. A couple houses over to the bay side and a couple blocks from the Gulf side. It's located the next street over from Pine street were it's loaded with shops and restaurants and even a general store with everything you need. I think we walked to get ice cream every night. In the garage they had everything you need from bikes to wagons full of beach items. My daughters would take the bikes to whatch the amazing sunrise every morning. We actually rented a 6 seater golf cart which made exploring the Island more fun. We highly recommend the Light House Lagoon for a lifetime of memories. Issues we had were very minimal One of the under water pool lights was out "definitely need more lighting by the pool" Garbage disposal didn't work which caused a slow drain. Light bulb went out on the deck. Like I said very minimal. This house has everything you need for an awesome vacation we highly recommend the Light House Lagoon.

My family and I stayed at this beach house for the 4th of July week. The location of the home was perfect! Just a short walk to shops and the bay side in one direction, and just a short walk to Pine Avenue in the other direction. The beach was not too far and was absolutely beautiful! The house was perfect in size for our family with plenty of room to spread out and not get in each other's way. Everything was clean and the linen service that was provided was very helpful. Plenty of bath towels and pool towels for everyone. We loved the open concept on the main floor and the screened in patio with table and chairs was great for the kids to eat. The pool was perfect! We loved that there was the built in table and benches and with little children the 5 foot deep end was just enough. We were so appreciative that the home was pet friendly and had a great fenced in yard. The garage was the perfect hangout for the kids with the ping pong table and we appreciated all of the floats and beach equipment that were there to use. The only issues we had were that sliding doors off of the kitchen didn't work but we just used the other set of doors right next to it and then the ceiling fan on the main floor patio did not work. Other than that we had an amazing time at this home. Our family travels to different beach houses every year and have been to several different places and this was the first one that everyone was in agreement that they want to go back... even the hard to please teenagers! We loved the home, we loved Anna Maria, and we loved the island vibe and friendly people. We are looking forward to another stay next summer for sure!
