The property was beautiful and amazing. Staff was gracias. Be prepared for sporadic WiFi connectivity and music late into the night. We were there 7 nights. Overall excellent! We would come back and stay at Al Sol Suite 🇨🇺

Really beautiful place to stay. Everyone is really kind and warm. The owners are always available for any questions and help. The hotel is located in the old Havana part of the city. I really recommend this hotel.

Very nice large suite for good reasonable price for Havana vieja , on the corner of plaza vieja and close to many bars and restaurants , great , all staff very nice and high level service , can recommend this place to everyone , will go back next time

I would recommend anyone coming to Havana to stay here. The owner Mara is incredibly helpful…. Speaks perfect English…. and all the staff are lovely!! The breakfasts were wonderful….. the room large and comfortable…. and it is ideally located. Quite frankly it was superb in all ways! We extended our stay three nights as we so enjoyed it!!!

The room was perfect, not big, but huge, the service was even better, and the breakfast was excellent, and you could even choose what you wanted! For tea-people like me, it's one of the few places where they have prepared plenty of tea gas of different flavors; they prepare a teapot and not just a tiny cup of hot water. Trust me, this is in Cuba quite rare :-)

When booking this property we were not aware of the area it was on, it was not especially clear that it is in the very old, very small, narrow old Havana streets just outside the tourist centre. The tourist centre was about a block away, the staff was hospitable and communicative although they spoke no English. The lady was telling us to be weary as we are tourists but the area is safe and we did not encounter any strange or alarming situations. This place is also very hard to find. The room was spacious and clean, there is a common kitchenette shared with other units, and a private living area w dining room in the unit, great A/C system and a small balcony in room (2nd floor) with a view of the immediate vicinity. The washroom while modern and exactly like the photos- had no A/C, it was hot, it had a strong odour when we arrived and barely running water, not enough to shower it was like trickling and barely enough to wash your hands. Wifi and Breakfast were additional charge. It’s good and central for a very brief stay in old Havana but if you’re there more than one night, there are other options. Also no parking, they were concerned about our car parked on the narrow alleyway but there is a camera right outside and we had view of it. Many key locks, one for the front door, one to the ”main housing” unit, and one on the inside and outside of the unit door.

Aymara was a wonderfully helpful host, all of the staff was incredibly warm. And the rooms are beautiful. Would absolutely recommend and book again.

Clean and close to Everything

The place is beautiful and convenient. I rated average for property and facilities because the air conditioning broke for number of days. That is when it was uncomfortably. But staff kept me updated on when it will be fixed. Thank you and yes I will visit again

Cuba was an incredible experience, it was a little bit sad to face and see the conditions about how people live but people is so kind. At the property Aymara, Carlos and the girls cleaning they were amazing, I have no words to describe how Aymara make us feel. I highly suggest to stay here, she is the best explaining and sharing more of her culture. So happy to know her
