Nice, well appointed property about a 15-minute drive from downtown Santa Fe (Plaza). It requires having a car to stay here if you are visiting local sites. Plenty of onsite parking. The house and casita courtyards offer welcome privacy and a peaceful space with water features, native birds, and landscaping. Spent a few mornings with a cup of coffee here. This is a good home for a large group or family, offering 5 nice-sized bedrooms including the casita. All bedrooms have their private bathrooms; there also is a half bath in the main house. We were gathering for a 60th birthday girlfriends weekend. Everyone was happy with their accommodations. Comfortable beds. There are multiple indoor and outdoor gathering spots throughout the property including an outdoor BBQ with dining table and tile mosaic replica of the Luncheon Party of the Boating Party (we had a contest to guess). The roof decks on the main house and casita have wonderful views. Kitchen is fully stocked with any equipment you might need. Nice dishware, cutlery, glasses, coffee mugs, serving trays, mixing bowel, cloth napkins, etc. Even a set of the classic WS cookbooks. Higher end Subzero and Miele applicants. Full W/D in main house and in casita. There is a piano in the living room which one of us played during an evening gathering. The owners offer complete instructions with gate codes to community, the house auto-blind system, etc. This is helpful. This is a very nice Vacasa rental. You could stay here without venturing out and be very happy.

The lock box to the main house was jammed so we had to call Vacasa to obtain an alternative way into the home. It needs replacing. Vacasa responded right away. The house requires some routine maintenance by the owners such as cleaning the carpets in the bedrooms, adding rinse aid to the Miele dishwasher, broken bathroom mirror, broken shade, damaged plaster, broken shower fixture, falling can light over shower, etc. We reported issues to Vacasa. None of these would impact your enjoyment of the property. None. Some thoughts for the owners/Vacasa: One of the bedrooms did not have a separate air cooling unit; just a ceiling fan and two portable fans. All other rooms had ceiling fans and a cooling units. The temps during our visit were 85 degrees and higher most days. Perhaps in cooler weather, it's a non-issue. But the room never came to the same comfort level as others. The casita roof deck did not have any furniture. Maybe add a few chairs to enjoy the views? Perhaps add a strip of LEDs along the length of the deck edge at the side where the hot tub is installed on the main house roof deck? At night, it is dark and makes navigating that area challenging and a safety issue (we could not find a light switch for deck lighting - maybe provide lighting instructions). Add pottery/other objects on the side of the two stairs that transition from the main house laundry room to the hallway. Trip hazard if you are not used to the property. There was a mouse trap along the wall in one of the bedrooms. Understand the reason since this property sits in nature so to speak. Might be better to find the pest entry point(s) and seal those. I cannot imagine having come into the room to find a dead mouse.

Beautiful property impossible access no gate code for two days entered through garage because the lock box never opened with the code they sent over and over but no one ever addressed the problem

No one ever addresses access problem eventually got text with gate code after two days of hoping some one was driving into development so we could piggyback gate never could lock house up after our garage entrance code because we could not get lock box to work
