Lit XXL très confortable dans une chambre où nous pouvions admirer la charpente qui liait les tourelles , dans un décor d'un autre temps. Nuit sereine . Petit déjeuner copieux autour d'une table partagée avec les autres résidents. Ambiance conviviale grâce à nos hôtes qui échangent sans transition en plusieurs langues . Nous y reviendrons.

Beautiful house, amazing views of the countryside, absolutely lovely hosts, very clean and modern bathroom.

The room was on the side of the building and received sun all day. As it was 35 degrees during our stay the room got very hot with no air conditioning and we couldn’t open the windows because there are many mosquitos and other insects.

Manque la télé après ce n’ai pas plus mal, dans le détail de la chambre ce n’ai pas noté je n’ai pas fais attention mais très bonne expérience et à refaire

A lovely quiet, relaxing place to stay. Good-sized room and bathroom with a comfortable bed. Breakfast is superb and it's nice to share it with the other guests. The owners are very helpful.

The room on the top floor was a bit hot and if you opened the window the flies came in so we had to use the electric fan. I'm sure the first-floor rooms are cooler.

Beautiful location and quiet spot for a retreat. The hosts are friendly and helpful. The beds are comfy and the rooms are decorated nicely. Loved it all.

Unfortunately we were given the top floor rooms with tiny windows and we couldn't see out at the view. Not all rooms are like that. We loved the place.

Amazing place, lovely hosts and great breakfast!

A very nice old building on the outskirts of a small village. The hosts are very nice, the room is better than on the pictures, the photos seem to make it smaller than it really is. The breakfast was very good, everything looked new, very clean, really excellent place

Loverly building, the host was good but a tad overpowering after a long day riding... the area is beautiful

Breakfast was tiny we all left hungry, we were ordered to sit on a large table with a Spanish couple that clearly was uncomfortable with our chit chat... Very hard to find a evening meal

Cristina and Xavier are exceptional! we spend 5 day and felt like at home! amazing breakfast in the morning always accompanied of good conversations with Cristina & Xavier, they provided extend tips/info about the area, really involved and well informed with all activities of the area of Irissarry.

Beautiful hotel with a beautiful view from our room. Breakfast was amazing. The staff was very welcoming with a tour and history of the hotel. I wish we stayed longer, and would absolutely return.

A traditional beautiful French property set in the countryside. The hosts were very welcoming and patient with us when speaking French. A very tasty breakfast to set you up for your day.

An exquisite hotel. The rooms are beautifully decorated, modern and spacious. Breakfast was lovely and charming hosts who made us feel very welcome.

The chateau is superb, breakfast excellent, the hosts full of great advice where to visit etc. the park full of mature trees and cow bells are an excellent sound giving a real visit into the Basque countryside

Everything was fine

The owners were the best! We really enjoyed chatting with them. They definitely made our experience in the Basque country. The place was by far the best on our trip in France (we stayed at 9 different places during our trip). The breakfast was amazing. The rooms are spacious and very well maintained. Would definitely want to return! It almost seemed as one of the things that are too good to be true, except that it was true.

We could have planned a longer stay there :).

The welcome was very warm and we share a nice time talking to Christina and Xavier. We really enjoyed the breakfast time around the big table with other guests and our hosts. The breakfast was extremely fresh with fresh fruit salad , home made juice , cake and bread. Everything was different each morning ! We will definitely come back and will recommend to friends and family!

The host was wonderful. We felt like we had been visiting a new friend, our room was beautiful, as were all the rooms in the house. The view was spectacular. Breakfast came accompanied with grandmothers home made cake. We were treated to local drinks and music and a lovely conversation about the history of the house and area as well as chats about all kinds of things. We will be back!
