The owners were very friendly and also helpful. We arrived in the morning and it was no problem to park our car, so we could already explore the city and beaches while waiting for the check-in. In the apartment, you can find everything you need for a weekly stay, and the kitchen is well equipped (oven, microwave, fridge, toaster, etc. ) Two of the bedrooms are a bit small but still big enough to unbag everything. You can use both the terrace and the two balconies. You can also use one of the two grillers.

One thing you should know is that Krk is very mountainous, you only need 10 minutes to the beach but the way back is only uphill. Not the biggest problem but something you should keep in mind. The bathrooms are very small and you don't really have a storage area.

We stayed in these apartments for a week with my family. The owner’s mother welcomed us, unfortunately she doesn’t speak english but after all we figured everything out and there was no issue. The three-bedroom apartment is very spacious, with a fully equipped kitchen, two bathroom and everything you need. The terrace is really nice for having breakfast as well. The Rose Apartments are very close to the center of Krk, the harbour and you can reach 3 near beaches within 5 minutes by car. The center takes a few minutes down the hill (but keep in mind if you go back it will be a little longer and a bit tiring to walk up). In total, we would come back anytime and we really enjoyed our stay in this accomodation! 🙂

The studio apartment is quite small, everything in one space but suitable for 2 person (and a baby). Nice and modern furniture, but unfortunately the bed wasn’t the comfiest.

Well equiped, calm and clean apartment in a good condition. Comfortable big, and nice bedrooms. Nice atmosphere.

When we arrived there was a little mistake coused by us. We arrived with 7 persons, but the apartment was enough for 6 persons. That was absolutely our bad. We asked help from the owner of the apartment. The very first problem was the communication. The lady could speak only Italian and German. We hardly could understand each other. We didn't get any help to solve our problem after all. But we feel well ourselfes during the week. Near to some of the beaches, but more comfortable and nicer beaches are a bit away from the apartment. (~20 minutes walk). There were no market that we can visit without car.

Mrs Ružica is kind and welcoming host. Location of the property is not central, however it's close to everything you need. Five minutes walk to the nearest beach, five minutes walk to the Old town entrance. Some people may grumble that it takes a little bit of steeper uphill walk (less than 100 metres) on the way back from the beach/town, but in my opinion that shouldn't be considered as a drawback. Property has large and wide private parking onsite which is probably the best advantage taking into consideration generally overpriced public parking fees at the Croatian coast - Krk is not an exception on that matter. Property is pet friendly. It takes 3 minutes drive (wouldn't recommend walking) to the nearest large supermarkets (Lidl and Konzum) on the main road to/from the town - each is on the other side of large parking lot.

We planned to take our dog with us, but we scrapped the idea after getting proprerty's reply prior to the journes that pet surcharge is 6€ per day. If pet owners are careless or have an unrully dog that makes mess which requires extra cleaning, I would expect it to be charged even more, but from case to case. Having very well behaved and trained dog ourselves, we were not terribly happy that there is a general pet surcharge rule enforced, so we left our furry family member at home with the rest of the human family.
