The owner/host is excellent and the property provided for a very nice stay!

If you are looking for a place to stay on Castle Rock lake, this is it! I will start off with communication. Every time I messaged, and I messaged a lot, I received an answer almost immediately at times. Next, location is awesome. Hidden away, quiet and beautiful. Plenty of room outside. The house, amazing!!! Plenty of room. And amenities, off the charts. There was everything you need in the house. There was not one thing we needed that wasn’t in there. I cannot stress enough how perfect our stay was!!! I would STRONGLY suggest staying here!

We had a wonderful time with family enjoying the house and lake. It was great to have a huge kitchen table where all of our family could gather to eat and play games. We loved the spacious deck and closeness of the lake. It was very peaceful with frequent deer visiting the area. Chris, the host was very responsive when we had questions.

Chris is an awesome host, my app kept failing to load my messages with the entry code. This led me to call Chris, he answered right away and proceeded to provide the code along with some fishing tips. The place is in pristine shape with nice quality furnishings!

It was a great stay with amazing views and everything we needed for a weekend getaway!

Great house right in the lake! The owner was responsive and the house was perfect for a group of families.

We had a great weekend getaway! The cabin was clean and spacious, the beds were comfortable, and there was enough ice to fish! Communication with the host was great. The kitchen was well stocked. It was a bit cold in the lower-level bedrooms, but a space heater was provided which helped. We caught 20+ small northern right out from the cabin. We are looking to book again next winter!

Girl's long weekend . . . the place was fabulous. Clean and neat. Lovely updated decor. The views were spectacular with the woods surround and view of the lake through the trees. Imagined if it were warmer we'd have gathered around an outdoor fire. We loved the long table for meals and playing games. Settled into cozy living room with the fireplace. Kitchen had everything we needed. Lots of parking. Chris is an exceptional host. Preparing to book for next year.

My family and I traveling in from Chicago. Our stay was nothing short of excellent. The house was super clean and had enough room for everyone to have their own space. The walk along the lake was breath taking, we really enjoyed that. Everything was perfection, looking forward to staying again.

My family and friends stayed at Chris’s place. The house is beautiful and spacious! The host, Chris has thought of everything. There are more than enough towels, soaps, and everything you need to enjoy your stay. The views to the lake are wonderful! The kids loved playing on the deck and in the backyard. We all enjoyed making smores around the fire! If you love to fish this is also a great place for you! There are an abundance of fish in the lake and you can fish just steps from the home. Also, the kayaks are awesome! Chris was available 24/7 and always responded immediately. We had such a relaxing and wonderful weekend getaway! We will definitely be back soon! If you are looking for a spacious, beautiful, relaxing place to unwind, this is it! You can’t go wrong!

The home was well equipped with more than enough towels, trash bags, some zip loc, and aluminum/Saran wrap. My family enjoyed the space, both indoors and outdoors. We especially loved the patio, the fire pit, and access to kayak and canoe. Chris was so responsive and very willing to answer questions about the area. The kids loved having so much space to run around. The only things that we had trouble with were bugs getting inside, but that’s obviously not in the control of the owners. Just an awareness comment. The home was also really clean and well stocked with condiments, tons of firewood too!

Fantastic property for our family gathering. Great space indoors and out. We enjoyed the large deck and fire pit, and the canoe and kayak were put to good use. Easy meal prep in the large and well-equipped kitchen. Thoughtful touches throughout the home.

We had a great stay. Booking was easy, communication with owner was atte tive, prompt, concise. Owner was readily available to us with any questions. The property is a perfect location, right on the lake, wooded, private, and was well kept. I can't say enough about the attention to detail the owners have taken with this property. The home was beautifully decorated, a well appointed kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms. We had so much room for 10 of us! I am very picky about sleep comfort, and we were all so comfy... thank you for good mattresses and nice bedding! The kids loved the huge deck for games, us for BBQ'ing (gas grill there), plenty of chairs for all, a fantastic firepit area with plenty of wood and firestarters. I loved it that we had a boat slip to dock and keep our boat.... just note that at this time the water was very very shallow for a speed boat. Nice amenities in the bathrooms and nice towels. My granddaughters loved that one room, with multiple beds in the basement was able to accommodate all of them for a big slumber party! We didn't use the kayak or canoe, but nice to have! I am sure we will paddle next time! It was nice to have a corn hole game for us to use. Parking was plentiful for a car, suv, truck and boat trailer. We loved that we could take our dogs!!! Our loveable labs were also very at home and loved being out on the deck, that is gated! We were in a good location to be close to resturants. WIFI worked well for us. Loved it!

Thank you, Chris, we had an amazing time during our recent stay. The house had everything we needed, and waking up to the gorgeous lake view and surrounding trees made each morning feel like pure magic. Kids liked to roast marshmallows on a fire pit. It was an unforgettable getaway that balanced relaxation, excitement, and cozy evenings.

Was a great weekend staying at Chris’s place golfing at northern bay. Only about a 20 min ride to the course.
