Great location and perfect for a couple and their dog! Although small in size the hut offers everything you would need for a couple of nights. Plenty to do in the area and location of hut is central to most of these.

The location was what we loved the most and the host Nicky was such a lovely person. She went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfy and was not hungry because of our transport situation.

The hut had everything you could possibly need! The views are stunning and the owners were really attentive! What you get is well beyond what you pay for and I would recommend this to anyone looking for a romantic trip in a remote location!

We had a fabulous time at our delightful Shepherd Hut “Starling”. The word luxury is not misplaced as everything about the hut is first class. Beautifully decorated with lots of homely touches it crams a lot into a small space. Nicky is a fantastic host and the communication before and during our stay was exemplary, nothing was too much trouble. I have no hesitation in recommending this highly.

The huts are hidden gems, full of everything you’d need! We have just spent two nights to get away on a walking break for our dogs birthday. Nicky went above and beyond, we have never received such exceptional customer service before! We arrived to presents and a card for our dog as well as goodies and champagne for us. We were taken back by how great our stay was. The hut was spotless with everything you could think of, even the extra detail like dog towels and bowls! I would highly recommend booking and experiencing for yourself. The location is perfect too! We would love to go back!

Beautiful location and very tastefully decorated. Everything we could need was there for a comfortable and relaxing stay, including some welcome treats which were a lovely touch.
Nicky, the owner, was accessible and provided us with some fantastic info before we arrived about location, practicalities, as we as offered us some super recommendations of hikes and places to eat.
Pet friendly but we were aware of this before booking.

Shepherds hut was very well presented with lovely little touches host kept in contact throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend

The property was beautifully presented with additional luxury touches such as dog towels and treats…lots of toiletries and treats for us too. The area was extremely tranquil and well thought out will a field full of tennis balls for our grateful pooches. The presentation inside and out said luxury and Nicky was the best host ensuring we had everything we needed from additional blankets and excellent information.

Absolutely beautiful shepherd's hut. Very cute and had everything and more than you could need. The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. With 2 beautiful dogs . Wonderful land surrounds the huts with amazing views. Will definately be returning.

We loved everything, we had an amazing and blissful time, the hut was very cosy and had everything you would need in it. The bed was comfy and it was literally like home from home. I found the decor classy as I’m a little fussy and like things to be “nice”. Great facilities and amazing wake up views. Lots of walks on the doorstop and a pub walk within roughly 1/2 hour of walking on the tissington trail (which is 5 min down the road to join it) - the pub is dog friendly and great food. The owners are super lovely and very dog friendly, we had a great time with our puppy and felt safe and secure with her. Would recommend this place to anyone.
We loved everything but just be aware if you have dogs that the grass meadow has a lot of slugs on it. Obviously it’s farmland so cannot be helped but just make sure your dog doesn’t eat one.

EVERYTHING exactly what it says in the description and was just what I needed.
From the moment of booking communication was brilliant and attention to detail on arrival like no other.
Super dog friendly highly recommended.
There isn’t anything I can think of that could have made it any better.
