The location for us was perfect. Our son was getting married and the venue was within walking distance for all the events I thought is would have been easier to get onto the beach but the waves were right up against the wall. So my imagined walk out the back door and onto the beach didn’t happen

Was thinking there were 2 baths. Which there weren’t So it was sharing a bath with 4 people Got locked out and attempted to contact the owners without any luck. So had to call a locksmith to get us into the house. Owner finally got back to us 24 hours later and found where the spare key was. Would have saved us $300. Maybe share the information ahead of time in case someone else gets locked out

The view is breathtaking! Everything was clean. Kitchen was really good occupied. And the 1st floor bed was really comfortable. :) Truly enjoyed our stay here.

The terrace could be better arranged and freed from unnecessary and broken things. :)

The location was great--small town Hawaii. It was a mile or so north to a grocery market and food trucks were nearby. I few low key restaurants were available, too.

The "true beachfront" location was the best aspect of the cottage. The North Pacific Ocean is literally a few steps from the backdoor. The only down side of the location was the road noise from the fairly constant stream of cars on Kamehameha Highway. Our family group used all three bedrooms. The one bathroom was a modest inconvenience, in part due the fact that it was not fully enclosed. Kitchen was great, with a large refrigerator and adequate food prep space. WiFi worked. TV was good. The cost was modest, at least before the high fees for cleaning and the rental agency.
