The site was good. There was plenty to do. The beach is just over the dunes.

The caravan was dated. The integrated fridge door had fallen off. It could have been cleaner, there were dead flies stuck to the lights. Once at the site and given there key there was no correspondence from the owner via text, email of phone even when I tried to get in touch to ask a few questions regarding the site and late check out.

Unfortunately we decided not to stay due to the caravan not being clean, mold in shower dirty floors cobwebs all over and the light bulbs in living area were out, generally just didnt feel nice, disappointing as this was a birthday treat away and ended up not staying and loosing the money we paid with no offer from owner of a refund at all.

We were meant to get PIN number to obtain the caravan key the day before we arrived but we never got it. We eventually got it on the day we arrived but communication was poor from the start of the booking, text messages unanswered and this had us worried. From the photographs the caravan looked clean and homely however when we arrived this was not the case. The first things we noticed when we arrived at the caravan were 1/ the smell (similar to wet dogs/ damp) and 2/ lots of bits on the floor as you open the door. As we walked around we were met by dirt and many fixtures and fittings were broken and unsafe and the bathing facilities had black mould and mildew on them. The bedding had ink on it. I sat down for a minute in the living area to fathom what my next steps would be and as I stood up I felt wet/damp. The carpet in the living area was also coming up off the floor. The final straw came when I opened the oven and there were bits of food mixed with pet hair and baked on grease. As a former caravan owner I would never have left my caravan in such a bad state and really disappointed to find this caravan in such a state. We left after about 5mins. There is no parking anywhere near the caravan but we knew about this from the advert.
