House was clean and the hot tub was a plus. Only three at a time for best comfort. The coffee maker was way too small for the number of coffee drinkers in the house. Making three pots every morning was an unnecessary task. I would stay again as it was very convenient to the slopes and shopping. Overall a nice place.

Cosiness and thoughtful details

This house is perfect if you are looking for a ski vacation. With 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, there was plenty of room for all of us. We really appreciated the laundry room in the basement, the second TV room in the basement for the kids (complete with a wide selection of kids dvd movies!), and the ability to park our rental car in the garage. It was also nice to have the basic condiments and spices in the kitchen. We even used the outdoor grill one night, with the spectacular views and the hot tub - it can't be beat! The house was very clean and perfect for our vacation. The location can't be beat if you are heading to Big or Little Cottonwood Canyons. Both highways are easy to get to and a short drive from the house. Also, if you prefer to take the local bus up the canyons instead, the park and rides are very close to the house. All the stores you need are in short driving distance (Smith's grocery, Walgreens, etc.). We even ordered our groceries ahead of time from Smith's and had them delivered to the house - which was a great time saver! If you are looking to stay in SLC for a ski vacation, this is a great house to consider.

It was very easy to access Snowbird/Alta from the house. There was plenty of room in the house, it was very comfortable. And the hot tub is a must if you're spending your days skiing!
