This wonderful beach house had everything that we needed and was amazingly close to the beach in a great quiet area of Mission Beach.

If you have young kids and want to stay on the beach, this house is perfect. It’s pretty hard to find a single story home one block from the beach and walking distance to mission beach boardwalk, until we stumbled upon this GEM! The house is perfect for babies, toddlers, kids, or just adults! They have a pack and play, high chair, and plenty of toddler approved plates, cups, spoons, etc. The patio is enclosed so your toddler won’t run off. The house is very well equipped in the kitchen and bedrooms. Lots of extra fans and blankets. They also have plenty of beach towels. The house was super clean. I’m a bit of a clean freak so it was a big deal that I felt comfortable enough to walk barefoot in the home. We used the grill one night which was very easy to use. Love that the family who owns the home have family photos on the wall. The rental company was super accommodating and easy to communicate with. They checked in on us daily via text. I fully intend on renting this home again and working with this property management company. Highly recommend the home and using the MMB for all of your stays in this area.

We were in San Diego to celebrate our daughter's college graduation and used the cottage as "home base." It was wonderful! Every amentity needed was provided and the house was cozy and comfortable. Our out-of-state family loved the 30 second walk to the ocean and the outdoor courtyard/patio. The beds were very confortable and there were plenty of extra pillows (love that!) and cozy blankets for the living room. We'd love to come back!

Quaint beach bungalow, a block from the beach, two blocks from Belmont. My kids and I walked everywhere and enjoyed what MB & PB had to offer. Farmers market in PB, Plunge, sunsets, and memories. Thank you.

We had a great stay at the cottage! Communication was quick and efficient. Location is excellent. The home was clean and well equiped with the essentials. We will definitely be staying at this property again in the future!

Home is 30 second walk from the beach and a 5 minute walk to Belmont park. Communication was easy and the whole process was great.

This place had literally everything you could think of. Just like being at home. Hope to stay there again!

Most importantly, this home was well positioned -very close to the ocean and the bay. Every sand toy, beach chairs, towels, etc were provided. Second, the house was roomy enough to comfortably fit my husband and I, our niece and nephew and their 2 boys, 3 and 8 years old. The kitchen was well stocked and we cooked most of our meals. The beds were comfortable! There is a closet full of games! One evening we ate dinner outside and there were even lanterns in the closet.
Also very important, there was good parking for 2 SUVs- no maneuvering around poles or squeezing in required.
I always look for regular chairs, not high top table and chairs, in the kitchen. This home has them and enough for the 6 of us.
AND the home was very clean!
We thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas week visit and hope to be lucky enough to book this home again.

We loved being so close to the beach. The beach house was exactly as described. Very clean and well stocked. Great for teens who enjoyed Belmont Park. Good for Grandpa - no steps to climb, walk in shower. Adults loved walking on the surf and bayside boardwalk. Felt comfortable and safe. Gorgeous sunsets. Highly recommend!

Cute, clean cottage. Perfect for 2 couples and 2 kids. Nice location. Walk to beach, restaurants, and Belmont Amusement Park. Well equipped kitchen. TV and games for kids. Lots of beach toys. Huge patio for dining or hanging out. Easy parking for 2 big cars. Will repeat.

Outstanding location a very short walk to the beach (no crossing traffic). House had up to date amenities and was perfect for family with small children. Property managers went above and beyond to communicate effectively. We will try to stay here again if we return to the area!

Stayed at this wonderful house to celebrate my son's graduation from the Marine Corps boot camp. The house was perfect, and the location was outstanding!

Our family of 5 (all adults) stayed here for a long Labor Day weekend (Thursday-Tuesday) and had a wonderful time. The property was pristine, very clean, and very comfortable, just as pictured. Upon arrival, I inspected the BBQ grill and noticed it was low on propane. I contacted the manager and two tanks were delivered the next morning. We ate outside at the picnic table for all meals - breakfast, lunch, and dinner when we were not elsewhere in San Diego. The house is steps away from the beach and boardwalk, yet is still situated on a private walkway. It could not have a better location. Wish we could have spent a longer time here. If we come back to the San Diego area, this is where we will want to stay.

What a beautiful place to stay! Our family had such a great time. Thank you for thinking of all the little extras for making it just like home. The outside shower, boogie boards, sand chairs/toys, beach umbrellas, huge patio, fans, comfy beds, awesome storage spaces, tankless water heater, and the location is beyond amazing! This trip is exactly what me and my family needed! The beach house was perfect for us and location is the best! It was very close walking distance to the beach, shops, restaurants, and more. The house had all the stuff you need for cooking a good meal if you didn’t want to eat out. The beds were very comfortable for everyone and we all slept well. My kids enjoyed all the board games at night. The front patio is nice to sit out on to read and relax and enjoy your meal. When you go to the beach you had all you needed with chairs and boogie boards. Being able to do laundry was a lifesaver and allowed us to pack less for the trip. The parking in the back is great as you can fit three cars no problem. We did a lot on this trip and really packed it all in. Too much to list here! The house is amazing and we can’t thank you enough! We will definitely come back again!

We enjoyed this cute little beach cottage so much. It was set up perfectly for kids with toys and beach equipment. The property manager was very quick to provide things that we needed. The owners have really thought of everything a family would need staying here. The location cannot be beat and the easy parking in the back is very hard to come by in mission beach. We would love to stay here again :)

Our family stayed here for a week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location to the beach was a huge plus for us as we came with 3 littles. Close enough to Belmont that we walked back and forth daily. We had a few issues that were taken care of right away. The parking behind the property was easy to get in and out of, and nice that they have multiple spots available as many don't. Only negative for us were the stairs on the front side of the property as we had a 2 year old who took a couple of small spills when she got a little too confident. Would definitely stay here again.

This is the third time our family has stayed at the Durazo’s beach house, and definitely not the last!! It is perfect for our family (adult son, his wife, our 2 grandkids, and me and my husband). This house has everything you need for little ones and grown ups too! When we walk through the doors, it feels like we are back home! The new flooring is beautiful! The beach house is super close to the beach, we could see the house when we were on the sand! 5 minute walk to the Bay, short walk to Belmont Park, and a mile walk to the World Famous restaurant in Pacific Beach. Be sure to take a walk to the Bay in the evening for the nightly Sea World firework show (10 minutes before they close). It’s a great show and only a 5 minute walk from the beach house. We are already looking forward to the next time we stay at ‘our’ beach house :)

A perfect location for a family get away! We stayed here with our son and his friends while looking at colleges nearby! The proximity to the beach was amazing! The on site parking was also a huge bonus!

This property exceeded our expectations, though we have stayed in Mission Beach several times previously. We found this location to be better than either ocean or bayfront due to its quiet nature and outdoor space. As other reviews have stated, the owner has provided all amenities one could possibly need. If this property is available don't hesitate to rent it!

We enjoy our stay. It was so nice to be that close to the beach. The king bed in the master bed room was very comfortable. The only fly in the ointment was the area rug and the carpet in the master bedroom need to be replaced. They were old and worn

This place was a perfect beach house for our family from the cold Midwest. It perfectly located steps from the beach and central to everything you want to do in San Diego. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed and it all very well organized. It was also very clean inside and out. We'll definitely be back!

Such a fantastic location and so close to the beach! We loved being able to take our toddler granddaughter on an easy walk to the beach or let her ride her scooter on the sidewalk. House had everything we needed and more -- I couldn't believe how many supplies were offered in the kitchen. A huge plus was having a washer/dryer since we had a toddler. Would love to return again!

Location to the beach is amazing, yet the property is quiet. Everything you need in the kitchen and for kids- having books/toys/highchair/pack n play was helpful for us as we didn't have to pack as much. Communication with owner was easy and helpful. Would stay here again!

This adorable cottage, steps from the ocean, quiet and clean and well-stocked, is just what we were hoping for. The plan was to unite with San Diego family members while we visited from New York. 718 Kennebeck is the perfect location. We walked to local restaurants, cooked family meals, played board games, laughed and had meaningful conversations. It will be our first choice when we return.
