We were welcomed late on our first night by Abdul who was so friendly and had dinner ready for us. We were travelling with a toddler and the hotel provided a cot for us and a high chair at every meal. All of the staff were extremely accommodating. The hotel is a short trip away from the Medina and the staff were happy to organise taxis for us when we wanted to go. The hotel itself is beautifully fitted out and the pool and surrounding gardens are truly stunning.

The only minor suggestion would be a reminder that if you want the set menu you need to let them know by 4pm.

General vibe was very relaxed . Staff were extremely efficient and courteous across the board. The rooms are large with open fires, private terraces and plenty of character. It is not a chain hotel, very much a boutique feel. Location is just a few minutes by taxi to Essaouria Centre and port so perfect.

it is a beautiful property and our room (Bagatelle) was located away from the pool and the restaurant such that it was quiet, which was important to us. we had a terrace and I could practice yoga there. we also had a beautiful fireplace which we have used every night. Waitresses and waiters are discreet and professional. The chef does a good job. we find. We enjoyed our stay there and would return.

Very secluded and nice! The overall experience was great from the room, pools and restaurant.

When we arrived the staff took their time, and we had to wait some time in the lobby. Felt like we weren’t even seen. But after that they were great :)

Villa Beldi is a beautiful place to relax and unwind. We had a wonderful room, Chambre Mimosa, and terrace overlooking the gardens, which are lovely. The pool is great, too, and the peacock family is a fun to watch!

really nice villa in Essouira with wonderful pool & restaurant. really nice staff. Essouira is a bit strange and beach is more for walking and riding so definitely need a nice pool.

Beautiful property! Our room was amazing and had so much space. Also we travelled with a toddler so the heated pool was perfect, so she could be in it most of the day! The food was absolutely delicious!

My only downside to the property was our check in. we turned up with lots of bags and a toddler and we weren’t offered help when they could see us carrying all of the bags. Also the check in felt very awkward and we had to speak to a few members of staff before we spoke to Fatima who was then very helpful. My only other thought is that when explaining the hotel, it would be useful to explain where breakfast/ dinner happens etc.. we found it quite intimidating the first day to get our bearings. also I noticed that things like yoga happened in the gardens, it would be good to make all guests aware of these things (appreciate we didn’t speak French) to make it feel more inclusive.

The staff was great and the grounds are absolutely beautiful! It's a wonderful place to stay if you're looking for a relaxing getaway.

Can get a little crowded if a lot of people come for lunch during the day and also had to keep going inside to ask for drinks as they all seemed to be congregated inside the main part of the building and tend to ignore you when they come outside especially if they are serving and you try to attract their attention

Villa Beldi is a luxury retreat, while it isn’t overly authentic it is a beautiful hotel in a really nice setting. Perfect for relaxing with easy access to town via taxi or hire car etc. The main beach is only a short walk away too. The food is excellent, especially breakfast.

Everything from start to finish was perfect. The staff were very attentive and we were treated very well. The Villa itself is stunning, a tranquil hideaway. We had a big selection for breakfast every morning. Would recommend for everyone to come here, we will hopefully 1 day return.

The place was incredibly nice, only a few kilometres outside the city, quiet, beautiful garden, good and affordable lunches, options for having diner. We really enjoyed the pool, the rooms were clean, decorated nicely and even more spacious than expected based on the photos. Very recommendable.

Beautiful garden with a pool; peacocks were running freely. Helpful and friendly staff.

The rooms were clean but have definitely seen better days; very old bathroom fixtures which some were broken and the drainage is poor. Paint flaking, missing hooks.

Lovely staff, comfortable room and really good food. The heated pool was a real treat and the gardens are beautiful. Great place to relax. We stayed there for two nights after three days in the Medina as we wanted some chill time. For that it met our needs perfectly.

It is a ten minute walk from the beach along a busy road which is not great for walking at night, however it is easy to arrange a taxi to the beach or Medina if needed.

Beautiful peaceful garden. Great staff. Breakfast was delicious - fresh orange juice, yogurt, fruit, tea/coffee, home made breads, eggs. Lunch options are good and you can sign up any day for a set dinner - different menu daily. Delicious food overall and lots of nice places to sit near the pool, in the garden or indoors. The waiting staff were great. Very attentive, polite and friendly. The place has a lovely atmosphere and there's plenty of space in the garden to find a nice spot to yourself to relax in the sun or shade. A peacock wanders around and a tortoise can be seen sometimes! They have a good little gift/clothes shop and there was a fire lit in the indoor restaurant on chillier evenings - we were there end November. We stayed in the Suite Majorelle. It was spacious and comfortable and had its own outdoor area with sun loungers and a table and chairs. The staff were very kind and helpful. It's about a 15 minute walk to the beach and 5 minutes or so in a taxi to the medina. We had a lovely stay at Villa Beldi.

There were maybe a few small little things that could be fixed in the bathroom but they didn't bother us. The bathroom was very clean and spacious, decorated with beautiful tiles, and there was plenty of hot water and nice shampoo and cream in Moroccan style bottles.
