The view, the environment

The property price that we booked at - displayed on Booking.com is way way higher than what the actual property price is. Actual property price is half of what we paid and that too for a subnoptimal room - we realized this once we reached and the money was deducted so no way to amend. So v poor and average - we were cheated and so please either do not book.via Booking.com or do verify. This completely marred our experience. And even after paying double of what the rate is - Reception told us Breakfast not included. It is definitely not a place to pay 10K INR for 1 night /

Stay was comfortable and it was clean ,paid food was exceptionally good

Only demerit was complimentary breakfast where the spread could have been more and the they could have added new items on Saturday and Sunday's

The location is good, but the approach road is congested.

The hotel is haunted. Lots of disturbances in the room that has been given. There is lot of negative energy in the hotel

This was specious, scenic but little overpriced. Specially the food was inadequate and expensive. Living was good and others staffs also pleasant. We found weak Internet.

Breakfast was good but dinner taken wasn't up to the mark

Taste of food taken in dinner also the options were very limited.

Staff sitting at Reception was cordial and others staff was also warm and well behaved towards guest.

Firstly the room size is too small and the room heater was pretty old and it was creating huge sound. Next, to get water in the room i need to call the house keeping staff minimum twice. Sometime i need to escalate it to reception. Food menu in the restaurant was very restrictive. At the end it is not serving the value for money.

The view of Darjeeling from the property (specially Kanchenjunga, although we were not so lucky), its heritage looks, quality and quantity of food, room service, very nice and supporting attitude and behaviour of all the hotel staff, room facilities provided as promised, 24 hr room heater and hot water service.

Heritage Room should have been carpeted, considering the cold and chilling weather of Darjeeling and would have been more comfortable leading to less use of room heater. Bathroom should be fitted with exhaust and provision for small tea cum dining table in the room. Way to the reception need to be shaded in some way so as to avoid rain while moving from the heritage block to the way out of the hotel/reception. Distance of the hotel from the clock tower then to the mall is almost 15 to 20 min walk, specially the uphill movement to the hotel is almost a 10 to 15 min walk from the clock tower, and will be exhaustive for children and elderly persons.

Spacious, clean, comfortable, friendly staff

The food is too costly and with minimum options. And it's around 10 -12 mins walk from Mall

Everything was good Location, view from room, staff service and cleaning all are superb in one word nothing to say about all these.

One thing which I really don't like is Daily non veg food options are very less there is no balance in daily food options in non veg. Summit should increase non veg food options in their daily menu.

Sometimes Geyser is not functional

The room was big and spacious. They actually upgraded me to a suit room but not with a view.

First and foremost, the biggest issue I had with this hotel since I'm a travel vlogger was that there was NO WIFI. I booked the hotel for 3 nights and I kept telling them that I must have internet access because I need to work. But they all kept telling me the same excuse that it's the provider's fault and that they too wait for the company to fix the issue. Well, for the first day I have still maintained my faith in their story, but after 3 days when all working shifts kept saying the same over and over, I quickly understood that they just don't provide any WIFI to begin with and that they systematically tell the same excuse to every visitor. Second, the rooms are already worn-out and old, and they desperately need a refreshing and a makeover. Moreover, the rooms are somewhat clean, but they could use a better cleaning service. One thing is for sure, they are overpriced for no good reason.
