It was originally the summer residence of Todi bishop. It has been completely renovated by the owners ,retaining most of the original features with exquisite attention to details: all floors are in hand made "terracotta" tiles ,and ceiling in chestnut beams. The bathrooms are equipped with slippers , towels and hair dryer. At ground floor there are a nice living room/reception, two living rooms , one of them very large and equipped with a wide working fireplace , and a fully equipped large kitchen. The house is surrounded by 3 spacious covered terraces where guests ,during the summer ,can have their meals ,read a book ,sip a glass of Prosecco or simply watch the sunset. One of them can be closed with folding glasses screens and is heated , allowing the guests to have their meals outside at any season. In the basement finds place a stone-covered large dining/living room (taverna) with a wonderful working fireplace, ideal for wine tasting sessions or as alternative place where to have the meals in case of colder weather. The jewel of the property is the stunning infinity swimming pool ( 18mt x 8 mt) surrounded by and a herb garden full of Lavander, rosemary and Mediterranean plants. On demand the pool can be heated. A bocce ball court is also available at the entrance side. The property is centrally located in the Umbrian region ; a perfect base for exploring the many ,beautiful town of Orvieto, Todi ,Assisi, Gubbio, Spoleto and many others , not so wellknown but beautiful like Montecastello di Vibio ,Bevagna , Montefalco , without forgetting the neighbouring Tuscany towns of Cortona and Arezzo. The property is a perfect location for weddings and special occasions as special anniversaries and “big”birthdays.
