The property was clean .My family and I felt same because of the camera .I was greeted upon arrival which made us feel welcome .The hosts communication skills are excellent .I really enjoyed my stay

Nice quiet area , clean

Very comfortable, clean, well equipped and with easy parking. Nice outside space too. The hosts provided lots of information and answered every possible question I might have had before I even arrived.

I was not send the location property and we had to call the owner who was abrupt saying I should watch the videos and messages he sent me to find the location. We only had postcode and no Cottage number so when our Sat nav just informed us we had arrived at our destination, we did not know which one is the cottage. Upon checking his messages he didn’t send anything and apologised for the oversight. Also the beds were dirty and looked like were not changed as we were told to make the bed before we leave which means they were not going to be changed.

Beds not clean/ stains on bedding

The apartment itself was fine. Beds were averagely comfortable and all the facilities were there (kettle, stove, TV). Probably don't need a TV in both bedrooms. Also, focus on getting the basics right (like a toilet lid that fits properly) before you install mirrors with Bluetooth etc. The location was convenient for us as we were passing through Huddersfield and the host gave us good instructions on how to find the property.

Where to start? Mainly, don't stay here! The host took a £100 deposit, seemed excessive but ok, maybe they get lots of destructive stag nights. We stayed for one night and accidentally broke a shower gel dispenser which was attached to the wall. We immediately told them about this with photos and googled the type of dispenser to see that they cost around £10-15 online. The host then dragged their heels about returning our deposit and when we asked a week later when we could expect it back, they stopped replying via WhatsApp. They did then reply via booking.com that we had been rude and they had therefore decided to ignore us - very professional. Fast forward to six weeks later and they have now told us (through the medium of booking.com staff) that they wish to charge us £134, citing other damages they have never mentioned before (and that we didn't cause). We would recommend not staying here if you don't want to have a very unpleasant experience with the host and your money stolen. It seems that these people want to take your money but don't really want to be bothered with the effort of hosting.

The owner of this property is a con man and also rude ! we reported the toilet wouldn’t flush after it had been used once ,the system had no water in it so we then tried to turn the valve at the bottom of the toilet to fill and flush the valve fell of. We reported this immediately to say we was not liable and it was already broken to be told we are losing our £100 deposit ! He sent us screenshots of the previous person who hired this and they clearly state the toilet had to be flushed twice which clearly means the system was not filling correctly. We have tried arguing that we are not to blame and why should we pay for damages we did not cause. he then referred to us as cheapskates trying to avoid paying for damages! Absolutely shocking behaviour from this man would recommend people stay away from renting this property before he scams you for his repairs

This is a small property and ONLY HAS 2 BEDROOMS NOT 3!!!!!!

Too small

This is in a lovely quiet location, very close the the town centre. The cottage really is very cosy and had everything we needed.

If I had to be very picky, a bin in the en-suite would have been handy, and bigger bath towels maybe, but none of that took away from our stay.
