It was a nice place. The beds were very comfortable. The outdoor area is great. There was a lot of glass near the beach area so water shoes are advisable. We'd stay here again.

Great location on Fox Lake with a swimming/picnic area next door. Plenty of room for everyone. Owner was very responsive. We had family in from Maine and our granddaughters had a great time in the water and playing air hockey in the basement.

We had a short family reunion at this property. The unit was spacious; the beds were really comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. Everything very clean. We enjoyed the beach. Thank you!

We enjoyed the house it was decorated very nice.
A few things that could be addressed:
Slow drain in center bathroom.
Door handle in other bathroom.
A pitcher for the kitchen would be nice.
More potholders.
Loose trim on right side of oven.

We rented this older 1940's bungalow for a couple nights-which is one of several individual small cabins which share a common driveway and open rear-yard area, in addition to pier (we rented a tritoon for the day). This clean 3 bedroom cabin has been renovated with vinyl plank flooring, a contemporary kitchen (no garbage disposal), and small front deck with patio chairs. Paper towel, TP, dishwasher pods, and garbage bags were provided. It has a full-size washer and dryer accessible via a cellar entrance on the outside and lower level basement area. There are two small bathrooms (one is off the family room area with step-in shower only) but none are en-suites attached to bedrooms. Only one tub in a smaller bathroom. A short walk down the driveway to the pier is nice for roasting marshmallows by the campfire and skewers were provided. Small firepits with wrought-iron chairs provide more gathering spaces for small groups. Kayaks and life-jackets available for use by all cabin guests (first come-first serve) as well as ample beach towels. Diane the owner was there when we arrived tending to supplies in the cellar. Keyless entry on the front door and code provided for access to cabin. A short drive away is a large Jewel-Osco grocery store. Our adult kids found a coffee shop close by they really liked. It was a quick get-away and really nice to be at the lake!

This house was charming, nicely decorated and very comfortable. It had everything we needed and then some. Kitchen fully stocked - really loved having both the drip coffee maker and the Keurig machine - super nice touch that the owner provides Keurig cups as well. The basement was great for our teenagers to hang out in.
We also loved using the kayaks! Nice that there is a public swim area next to the property - made for easy access into the lake with the kayaks and we also used it for floating/swimming in the lake. We had a pontoon boat and the property's dock was easy to dock up to.

This was a cute property and had an open and spacious feel inside. We really loved that all three rooms had a king sized bed and they were very comfortable! It was also a huge bonus that there was a second bathroom with a shower as we had to be somewhere fairly early on Saturday and everyone was able to get ready fast.
The house also felt really solid and well insulated so each room felt like it had enough privacy. We would definitely stay here again!

Three (very comfortable) king-sized beds, as listed. Great bedding; great shower; everything everywhere was very clean. We were there in the winter, but would enjoy the summertime, so close to the lake!
We did enjoy the basement fun zone: foosball, air hockey, mini-ping pong. There are Lots of board games, as well.
Not mentioned on the listing is that there is accommodation for infants: we used the Pack & Play and high chair. There is a stroller and a bunch of Duplos. That was great.
It's a bit smaller than it looks (although the listing does state the square footage). We were three adults and a baby and it was perfect. During the summer, people could enjoy sitting on the porch outside, (or the kids could play downstairs-- or adults :-). and there are plenty of chairs and stools if you were to eat inside with a group.
I try to travel with night lights, which came in handy, as the bathroom lights automatically turn on with fans. (-:
I'm very pleased we chose the Funcation house, rather than a hotel.

I have to start with the communication with the property manager was superb. They went out of their way to help accommodate our ever-changing schedule due to the circumstances we were under. The house was decorated very nicely and was very clean. The downstairs was perfect because it gave someplace our kids could play while we relaxed upstairs. I highly recommend staying here and can’t wait to return!!!

Had issues arise prior to scheduled arrival. Poor communication with management, ignored other concerns and jumped into discussing check in procedures. Also failed to mention about the laundry area that is shared amongst the other rentals. Wouldn’t be an issue except it’s under the living area of where we stayed in the basement.

This property was very clean and comfortable. It was well stocked and had newer appliances. Good location on Fox lake . We didn’t realize that there were 4 properties side by side when we rented so it was a little less private than we thought. We did like that it had a dock to park our boat which was a plus .

Family and I stayed at this location for 4th July weekend, 5 nights. Location was great for us as we had a boat we were able to keep it at the dock. We met the owner that were super friendly as the other guests were too. We would definitely stay at the property again!

Nicely decorated, super comfy beds and lots of board games as well as a game room downstairs. The unit had a lot of amenities that were not expected. Absolutely enjoyed having coffee in the morning on the patio overlooking the lake. The owners are FABULOUS and super easy to work with! We are looking forward to booking this location again.

This home was in such a nice quiet area. Beautiful view of the lake. Very comfy beds and well stocked kitchen and amenities! We were two families with four teen kids. The fun games available in the basement are a bit smaller in reality than they look in the picture. Our teenage boys looked like giants playing ping pong. But that did not stop them from playing all weekend. We had a really nice time.

My sons and I rented this property for a ski weekend at Wilmot. The house was very nice and clean, and located only a short drive to the slopes. We really enjoyed our stay.

This is our second time staying at this property and we loved it. Everything is spotless, the games in the basement were a huge hit with our kids, the home was lovely and the lake was beautiful. We had one tiny issue that was handled immediately by the owners - they are wonderful to work with. We loved our stay both times - once in the summer and once in winter - and we will continue to come back to this house. Great experience - wish we could’ve stayed longer.

My family was coming in from coast to coast for a gathering of extended family. We needed a comfortable, cozy, centrally located place to stay and hang out together between events. This place perfectly fit the bill. Wish we had more time and it was warm enough to take care of all the fun things to do—kayak, fire pit, swim, piles of board games.
