Hotel is situatede next to a motorway, and you hear the noise from the traffic all the time, so it is very difficult to fall asleep. So if you need a good nights sleep, find another hotel

The room smelled like smoke and a fire alarm went off when we were in bed. We had to evacuate. Apparently it had happened 3x that week. It didn’t seem like anyone cared or even took the time to reassure us so we could sleep.

Clean, comfortable and roomy. Attached to a mall with many food options, and a 2 minute shuttle ride to the airport. Perfect place for the night before an early morning flight.

We were pleasantly surprised by how spacious the room was. Loved it! Hands down my favorite place to stay in Alajuela before or after a flight. 5 min from airport!
The only think I would recommend is fixing the car entrance to the pick up and drop off. Our car was a bit damaged from the high curb side to get in :(

Several things to improved
1. The TV application and remote control is awful, too technical and hard to see anything, remote control did not work.
2. I made the reservation search and place breakfast included, however when I arrived and spoke with the hotel.com breakfast did not appear anywhere.

We loved our stay. Everyone that works there is so nice and helpful. Direct access to the mall, which was great during a rainy day because the mall has an arcade kids play center and we spent a couple of hours there followed by a movie at the movie theater. Plenty of good options too.

The Hilton was the perfect selection for our trip plans. We used this as our stopover before commutig to other areas. The very short distance from the San Jose airport was extremely ideal. Then there was the City Mall attached which was perfectly convenient. We even went to the coffee farm from there, and the distance was not bad at all. The breakfast was good. They have two lovely bars and a relaxing pool. The staff were quite friendly. J have no complaints. I will certainly use them always when travelling to CR.

Absolutely ideal place for a first or last night in San Jose. The staff was outstanding from beginning to end with an extremely helpful shuttle driver. It's connected to a huge mall for all kinds of dining options. I will return.
