For one, the dinky coffee maker contained a used pod from previous guest. Clearly, the maker was not cleaned at all. Secondly, units 1 and 22 are located right by a busy road. Perhaps during building/remodel, the walls could have been insulated extra to ward of the road noise. The walls are too thin that my husband and I can hear people talking as well. Thirdly, I think the extra bed topping should be washed. No sure how often those are laundered but ours smelled unclean. Other than that, appreciate the overall condition and decor of the facility and will recommend the place to others and share our experience, let them decide.

There was no hot water in the shower. We called the helpline posted on the door and they suggested to turn on all the faucets on hot and let them run for 5 minutes. Although hot water was coming out of the faucets it never came on in the shower.

Room 22 is on the highway and quite noisy. Perhaps a more sound proof window is in order instead of the ear plugs you provided. Never would have booked the room if we knew how it was situated. Also, cleaning up the bird droppings outside the door would help.

We spent the last night of a 7 day trip around Olympic peninsula here. This place stood out for several reasons. First the whole place is new, which is nice, but it’s the well thought out details that really made a huge difference. Easiest checkin by far with door code sent in advance, park in front of unit, generous walk in shower, full kitchen including pans, salt n pepper, paper towels even, super comfy bed, big tv, outdoor area with tables, lights and even corn hole. Then the little details: they even provide wine glasses and a wine opener. As a rule, I hate towels and sheets laundered with strong scented detergent or fabric softener that give you a sore throat when you wake up, but these towels had just the faintest hint of fruity scent that was actually very pleasant. Sheets scent free. Outlet to charge phone right by bedside. Hooks to hang coats and towels. Every detail thought of. If I ever return, this will be my first choice of accomodations.

Absolutely recommend this property!! Very clean and cozy room with ample cooking facilities. Our room had a great view of the marsh. Big highlight of the oroperty for us was the firepit and outdoor seating.

This motel is adorable. The needs were so comfortable. The self check in was so convenient.

This was newly set up suite of rooms - very comfortable, kitchenet, livingroom area with large u shaped couch, extra pillows and throws and two TV's, comfortable bedroom and bed in the third room. High ceilings, modern fixtures... Cabinets and shower built TALL.

Real, live humans are at the end of the line if you call or text! Very responsive staff. Very new and very clean rooms. About a 5 minute drive from the docks. I will stay here again!

Beautiful updated room with small kitchen. Room was nice but very small. Kitchen was perfect but the microwave kept flipping the breaker so we couldn’t use it. Therefore the meals we had brought to cook, we couldn’t. Management said they fixed it for us but it would never work. Couldn’t trust them to do what they said they would do. The self check in was great. They were late in opening the office in the morning and left by 7pm. Wouldn’t stay here again. Very pricey and then a faulty microwave.

The room was recently renovated with a new bathroom and kitchen facilities. Lovely stay.

The hotel looks to be new. It was in perfect condition. We were in #14. Lovely to look out the window and see south bay. It was very quiet. Did not hear the traffic. Nice table and chairs outside room. Kitchen supplies were adequate for simple meals. The only negative was it took a long time for hot water to come through.

This was by far one of the best hotels I have stayed it. It was sooo clean they leave stuff for you like cups, pots, pans, plates, and sliver wear. I have never been to a place like that before 10/10 rating I will be booking again!.

South Bay Inn was a nice find and a decent place to stay. I had no trouble with check-in or parking. It's clearly a very new hotel, as there was some painting going on when I got there on Friday afternoon, but the grounds were clearly very well kept. I was traveling alone for a weekend of fishing, but the cornhole boards, fire pit, and yard that overlooks the bay were all nice amenities. I stayed in a basic room, which I would likely avoid in the future and opt for one of their others. The basic was just too small...just a bed, kitchenette, and bathroom...no chair or table to sit at. The bed was reasonably comfortable and the kitchenette was well-stocked. My only complaint is that the room was not as clean as I had hoped. The parking lot has a lot of loose rocks that get dragged into your room...and there were some before I got there. The other place lacking in cleanliness was the bathroom...with urine stains on the toilet and soap stains in the shower. Overall, a good experience and I would stay here again but in one of their larger rooms.

Very clean and everything was well kept, when the listing says "best for solo travelers" they were not kidding. The only downside was the rooms are tiny. Me, my fiancé and dog were very cramped.

The absolute cutest little room we’ve stayed in. So much attention to little details and so many extras were provided. I loved this place
