The hotel is new. The rooms are clean and good size. Probably one of the cleanest hotels in Tunis. The staff was friendly and gave good advice on how to get to other places. They welcome you with water or drinks when you arrive. They also order for you transportation to the airport with the regular prices. Truly you do feel like you are among your family with the staff. Only the breakfast lady was not friendly. She may snap at you if you ask something of her, such as reheating your coffee. The hotel is located in a narrow alley that is not clean and the commercial store near the alley put their garbage at one end of the alley. Not the hotel's fault. There are many hotels in this alley, so if they work together and put some plants and prevent the other stores from putting the garbage on the alley, Hotel Suisse can easily become a 4 star hotel. The hotel is near the train station and you may notice lots of immigrants and locals are sitting in the park near the station. Do not let that scare you from this hotel. They are not dangerous. Near the hotel there is the French Embassy and there are police cars all over this area which make it safe. You can walk everywhere from the hotel. The old Medina is about 5 to 8 minutes walk. My friend and I enjoyed the comfort of the rooms and the easy access to all attractions.
I just wish the alley was not used to dump garbage from the nearby stores. The garbage is not In front of the hotel, it is at one end of the alley.

Everything about the stay was amazing! We had very good customer service and even came back to stay another time. The room was very clean and lovely. The breakfast was stunning.

Bon accueil : attention aux personnes, gentillesse, bienveillance de tous. Equipements excellents; tout ce qu'il faut et pas plus, pas d'encombrements inutiles. Déco simples et lumineuse. Situation géographique excellente, proche de la cathédrale, de la médina , des bistrots. Peu de bruit, sauf une nuit, c'était à l'extérieur ! Tout à fait ce qu'il nous fallait.
Les tasses du petit déjeuner : un peu petites !

Breakfast could be better, it includes the same formula every day no choices. The bread seemed from the previous day. The hotel is nice, new and clean, the street is a bit weird despite being nearby the Center.

Not far from the medina and the main street, this little hotel is a gem. Breakfast was ample and the rooms comfortable. Staff are lovely.
My room was dark as it overlooked the small courtyard but it was fine.

It is a very clean place with very attentive staff. It is very central, easier to walk to medina and the train station, and very close to lots of restaurants.
They do not have hair drier in the rooms, I think it is something that can (and should) easily be fixed.

I was very pleased with the stay - it is a very simple hotel, where we had everything we needed in the room and it was well located to galleries in the city and a short walk from the medina. Staff are extremely kind and helpful when we checked in and also needed anything during the stay.
The only downside is the breakfast which was unfortunately similar to airplane food and pretty much inedible. However, there is a coffee shop across the little street that was sometimes open, if you want an alternative breakfast option!

Everything, good price for central location hotel close to Everything, staff very helpful and friendly, always be there when you need help, despite almost hotel room in Tunisia they dont have a kettle, but the hotel always offer you free coffee tea latte cappuccino you named it, tasty breakfast too, will be stay again next time when i come to Tunis

Im Badezimmer hat man vergessen den Mülleimer auszuleeren. Die Badematte lag in der Dusche und war triefend nass.
Das Bad war nicht sauber.
Das Hotel ist zwar neu, aber es wirkt unfertig. Im Bad war der Wasserabzug nur behilfsweise auf einer Seite befestigt.
Im Aufzug tropfte Maschinenöl von der Decke.

The man at the front desk was friendly and tried to he accommodating.
My husband and I booked at this hotel and expected to stay at their 3 star property. Once we arrived the woman at the front desk told us there was an “incident” and that we couldn’t stay at the property. She told us we would be staying at the 2 star next door. She took the higher payment for the 3 star property then brought us to the 2 star property next door. The property was old, dirty, had no hot water, smelled of cigarette smoke, lacked towels, toilet paper and linens. We would have liked to be informed of the hotel issue prior to our arrival so that we could have found a more suitable place. We were unhappy about this issue and will never book with this property again.

Die Lage perfekt und personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit
Frühstück sehr einfach und jeden Tag das gleiche Frühstück gekochtes Ei,kleine Plastik schale Marmelade und Butter,Kanne Kaffee und Milch dazu halbe Scheibe Brot und ein Croissant und 125ml Kinder Saft und kleine Flasche Wasser und das war.im Zimmer kein Wasserkocher,Kaffee,gar nichts. Ich bekam neues Zimmer und Bettlaken war mit Flecken nicht gewechselt habe Bescheid gesagt und ich habe selbst gewechselt und beim Frühstück musste ich zwei mal auf Brot warten bis der Becker frisch gebracht hat. Ich habe in der Rezeption gefragt wegen diese Kleinigkeit die haben gesagt das Hotel ist seit zwei Monaten geöffnet und sie sind nicht so ganz organisiert.Naja aber das Personal top und alles in allem okay

C est neuf donc l’ascenseur est tombee en panne.Mais le service a descendu ma valise. Une petite musique dans le lobby serait appréciée. La télé était toujours au meme poste et c était trop fort

Terrific quality to price ratio! Very good location behind the French Embassy. The staff was outstanding and very helpful. The room was quiet and the furnishings exactly what was needed.
I already told the owners that the showerheads should be up higher and they were quite receptive to this comment.
