The house was great, as advertised. Easy communication with the owner, and a convenient location.

The property overall was super spacious and fit my family well. The bathrooms were all beautifully updated. The house does need a deep cleaning done. The carpets, especially on the spiral staircase were quite dirty. The kitchen needs some updating but does offer everything you need. We weren’t able to use the upper or lower decks because of so much snow. We couldn't really leave the house because of the snow storm but the street was a great place to sled. Maria was very attentive and very accommodating with the check out time as it was snowing pretty heavily.

House is well maintained, nice and cozy. Communication all went well. However, I felt two things downsides 1. Slope to the main road with snow became slippery and it led to collision and damaged my front bumper. Not sure what can be done about it. 2. Checkout of 10am seemed a push.

Stay was nice up until the final night when the sheriff knocked on the door saying we had to move the cars from out front of the house to zephyr cove because the renter shouldn’t be advertising 5 parking spaces at the property during the winter. Most of my group had been drinking and it made for a real bummer on the last night we had..

Fantastic location, house and hot tub!

The vacation home was as advertised. It was comfortable and plenty spacious for all 8 of us. The home was outfitted with pretty much anything you need. Plenty of warm and comfortable blankets, beds and linens. The kitchen had anything anyone would need for their stay. We entertained 16 and had the room and utensils, kitchen tools, etc. we needed. The only complaint I would have is that the house could use a thorough and deep cleaning - walls, carpet, kitchen, etc. We would rent it again.

The house itself was great for my family and my friend's family to stay in. Got a little space from all the kids! Also, our host was so accommodating. We had a few issues with an impending storm and the wifi was out in the area and Maria bent over backwards to help us. Would definitely rent with her again!

The house was great! Very clean and so homey and comfortable. The owner was also extremely helpful in answering my questions when I arrived. Check-in and check-out were very straightforward. Highly recommend this place!

The good- -well-equipped kitchen -great communication with the homeowner -comfortable beds with nice bedding and comforters -washer and dryer- dryer was nice for wet clothes when the kids came in from playing in the snow -great sledding hill next to the house -smart TVs -lots of bedrooms and beds -updated beautiful bathrooms -the garage was nice to keep cars in -fireplace in the living room the bad -very dirty, I'm talking dirt that has been there for a long time, especially in the kitchen (shelves, cupboards, stove...) - spiral staircase to downstairs, the carpet was filthy and it was very difficult to get luggage up and down to the bedrooms, you could take it in through the downstairs door from outside but then you were carrying luggage through the snow - limited parking due to the snow, she did call someone to plow so we had room for the 3rd car -the spa was dirty, smelled and disgusting, we couldn't use it -no firewood supplied and it was super expensive to buy -the living room is small for a large group, there were 12 of us - the kitchen is super small and needs updating, very difficult for more than 1 person to be in the kitchen fixing meals for a large group We had a great time in spite of it all but I was very disappointed mostly because of how dirty it was. The cleaning lady had come but there were hair and fingernail clippings on the bathroom floor from the previous people and the floor hadn't been mopped, just swept. Most of the filth had been there a very long time- the home needs a deep cleaning and some updating in the kitchen for sure.

Ten family members met in Tahoe from all over the country as we are a military family and spread far apart. The spaciousness of the house was perfect for us! We had space left over! The beds were clean and comfy. The bathrooms are decent sized and updated. The kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils, pots, pans, and other items needed to prepare a huge Thanksgiving meal and several others throughout the week. The large table was perfect for sharing meals. The second fridge in the garage was a nice bonus for drinks and pies. :) Maria was extremely responsive in handling any minor issues that arose (spa code, spa not heating, needing snow shovels for clearing safe walking paths, Wi-Fi/cable needed restarted.) We really only had one con to mention and I noticed others have mentioned it as well. We spent the first hour in the house cleaning. Dirty floors, dirty sliding glass doors, dirty bathrooms, and dirty kitchen counters. I spent 10 minutes trying to clean the coffee pot before giving up and buying one from Walmart for us to use for the week. Thankfully, there were Clorox wipes and sprays all around the house, along with Swiffer floor wipes and Lysol. Overall, a great space and location for a family get-together. Oh, and a really nice neighbor kept warning us about a bear behind the house. Unfortunately, we missed seeing it, but saw a bunch of huge bear tracks in the snow. Maybe next time!

Every year we go to Tahoe for my mother-in-law‘s birthday. It’s somewhat of a tradition. Maria’s rental was absolutely perfect. We have somewhat of a larger, immediate family, and were able to comfortably fit everyone in her house. It was wonderful.

This is a very well appointed rental. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking in with the family. Plenty of room to spread out both upstairs and down. The three bathrooms are clean and modern. The beds are comfortable. Location is walking distance to Zephyrs Cove beach in about 4 minutes. We had a great time on our stay.

Loved the home and will definitely stay there again. Owner kept in contact and liked that. 5 star ++++

We stayed here for our daughter's wedding at Round Hill Pines. It was perfect for our family and bridesmaid's the night before and getting ready in the morning. There were plenty of beds and towels (the new bathrooms look great by the way!) and the parking situation is good compared to other Tahoe locations. A huge plus is a garage you can actually use, not always available at VRBO's. Maria was fantastic to communicate with! I had a concern from a previous review and she explained it and also made sure the house was extra clean and ready for our group. The house is not new but it is clean and comfortable and stocked with everything you need in the kitchen and for a stay. I would stay here again. Thanks Maria!

I recommend staying here! Close to everything in Lake Tahoe, and really nice house. The internet was down for a few hours, the host was very accessible and called me to follow up on our stay.

The property has a great location short walk to Zephyr Cove. The owner was very quick to respond to any of our questions or concerns. When we arrived the power was out and she was quick to find out what was going on and let us know when the power was coming back on. We had a issues with the TV and WiFi due to the power outage and luckily we new how to reboot everything. The bathrooms have been updated and are beautiful but this home really needs some more updates. The hot tub is very out dated and is leaking water onto the upper deck and we did notice some dry rot and we did not go in as we felt it would not be safe for all of us. There is no air conditioning as I missed this when booking but they did provide box fans for the upstairs bedrooms and the downstairs had ceiling fans. The owner should look into putting ceiling fans in upstair bedrooms and front room. The floors were dirty and our feet were black and since we pay so much for a clean fee you would figure it would be clean. I did see another comment about this and the owner said they are getting new floors next month and would address with cleaning staff but the floor were not mopped and if you are charging a cleaning fee the floors should be cleaned. The furniture is old and out dated the couch downstairs was ripped. The pictures showed a pool table a little disappointing to not have one but there was a card table but we made do and still had a great time. We had a great time overall since we had a lot of smoke from the fires. Thank you for sharing your home with us as we look forward to seeing picture updates on VRBO of your new floors and if our plans do not work out for next year we may look at this property again.

The positives: We loved the set up of this property it accommodated our family very nicely. The bathrooms were updated and clean, The bedrooms were also clean (other than the carpets need shampooed). We loved the location because it’s close to the very nice beach and fairly close to the store and restaurants etc. It was wonderful to have the Hot tub on the deck. The garage space was nice to have as well. And Maria was very good at communicating and getting back to us and was easy to contact. Negatives: The floors are extremely dirty—carpet and hardwood floor; after walking around in the house our feet and socks were black. There were big chunks out of the hardwood and some of us would stub our toes on it. Most of the carpets are beyond shampooing— they need replaced. All of the decks were dirty and had a lot of debris on them in fact before we had company come over one evening for a barbecue we had to go out and sweep off the deck & wipe off the dust and all the cobwebs and spiderwebs that were on the side of the house and on the wood deck floor. The gutters were overflowing with Pineneedles. On the bottom deck the kids could not walk on it because the nail heads were sticking up. There were also cobwebs and spiderwebs inside the house in the corners of some of the ceilings. The TV wouldn’t work so the cable man had to come over from spectrum and was in the house for 6 to 7 hours working on getting the TV up and running so we had a stranger in our home working while we are trying to vacation. He was very nice and Maria was too but again just another negative. He did finally fix it so we could have TV. There was leftover food in the garage refrigerator and it was very dirty. It was nice to have an extra refrigerator however. This place has great potential it just needs a thorough cleaning, updated, some fresh paint on some of the walls and someone to come in do a walk-through to get it maintained up to par. We really wanted to give it a five star, but we wanted to give an honest review because we wish We would’ve read these things prior to coming! We felt we spent a lot of money for this place, and since she was a premier host we thought it was going to be very well maintained & nice. The layout and the location were great, but it needs updated and thoroughly cleaned and maintained.

Maria is by far the most communicative host I have ever dealt with. You can expect to hear from her moments after texting , really in awe at her promptness. The Cabin is located a short walk to beautiful, clean, Zephyr Cove beach, perfect for family fun time. Appreciated the close proximity to the Gondola's at Heavenly (the Alpine coaster at the top of Heavenly was the biggest hit with the kids and adults). Also nearby was Discover Tahoe Cruises for a fun Lake cruise to explore Emerald Bay and more. So many activities close to this cabin. We enjoyed having ample space for 3 families. The cabin was clean, although living room furnishings are dated and carpets stained. The kitchen is generously equipped with everything you need for meal preparations, and having a second refrigerator came in handy. The hot tub, and bar-b-que were also perfect for our trip. Made wonderful memories in this sweet place, two thumb's up for "Tahoe Tarns".

Maria was always so quick to respond when I emailed her with any questions I had. They provided us with everything we needed while staying there. The lake is walking distance from the cabin. Location is just beautiful

Great value, great location, and great hot tub!

Maria was kind and our experience using this cabin with our brides maids and groomsmen for our wedding and spending time with family here was awesome!

The property is located really well to a grocery store and not far from few places to shop/eat. THe beach is pretty close we just didn’t get to use it as weather didn’t cooperate. Bedrooms have ample space and bathrooms are nice. The donning room/kitchen area I would like to have seen more open floor plan. The hot tub works just is pretty old so is a little difficult and can’t hold a lot of people. The owners are really responsive and easy to communicate with. Would stay again.

The cabin was in a great location. A bit rustic, but Maria was awesome to deal with and super responsive to any questions we had. Overall a great place to stay to get away for the weekend!

Everything was great, Maria had excellent communication and the location was easy to travel to the beach and the casinos!

Had a great experience

It is in a prime location to do so many things. Comfy beds, clean home, and all the needed cooking stuff (seriously, it can be frustrating) made it a home feel. We had a few things happen while we were there but the owner did everything to make it right! I so appreciate their hard work to take care of us! I have stayed at others where that was not the case. Great Place, Great Time, Great Memories!

We visit South Lake each spring for my birthday to ski and to visit with family. The house was perfect, plenty of room, nice big table to hang out at, good location and a hot tub to enjoy! Thank you!

We had a fabulous time! The free toiletries were a nice touch and the location is great. Mailing the keys is a bit of a hassle but overall we recommend this cabin
