Absolutely perfect! The room was quite comfortable and homey. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. We will absolutely stay again on our way through!

New, very clean and nice place. Large, comfortable suites with fridge/sink/basic food ware. We stayed with dog and property has large, mowed grass area next door which was perfect spot to walk dog etc. Breakfast had a nice selection. We will definitely stay again…good value.

Our stay at the TownePlace Suites in Abilene was near-perfect thanks to the staff. Great location, professional staff, clean, and very quiet hotel. Outstanding all around. Folks using Expedia / Hotels.com to book this hotel, take note: Marriott has updated their website with this info, but Hotels.com has not. Some rooms are billed as, "King Bed, with pull out couch - sleeps four." The problem: the couch bed will not clear the bed. Spoke with the hotel manager who said it had been a problem when ordering the custom couches. Again, this is NOT a hit on the TownePlace or Marriott, but rather Hotels.com. Marriott did its part in updating / warning potential customers on its website; Hotels.com has not.

Family and Pet friendly

I’m delighted to find this new hotel! We travel to Abilene often and sometimes need a hotel when family can’t accommodate. The staff was friendly and professional, and the room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped.

The room was really nice. Modern. Nice kitchen. Items available for bbq, extra kitchen items too. Good breakfast! We would have benifited from cabinets for clothes. Super friendly staff! Would definitely stay here again.

Our room was very clean and had so many unexpected appliances in the kitchen (like a larger fridge, dishwasher and toaster) made our stay that much better! 10 out of 10, recommend!

Super clean and comfortable bed. Could not work the shower. The stylish but difficult faucet was impossible for me to pull up to make the shower work. It sort of dribbled and wasted lots of water through the main faucet. Other than that it was great and at a reasonable price point.

By far the best hotel I have ever stayed in, the front desk staff was incredibly nice, the room was impeccable, I have never had a hotel experience this impressive.

Hotel was clean and staff was friendly and helpful. There is a pool but it is only 4ft so we didn’t swim. Breakfast was the usual fan fair nothing exciting. Location was within several restaurants however difficult to get to. Overall nice weekend get away and would stay again.

Had a small problem at check in with the room. The A/C was dirty. They moved our room with ease. Pool was small but refreshing after a hot day. A/C units are loud at night. With this being a farely new property you think they would have updated a/c units. Overall our stay for one night was great. Rooms were nice still smelled new.

This property was very nice and we would definitely stay here again. Staff was friendly, check in was easy, room was clean, a/ c was a bit loud but did work so it did not ruin the atmosphere, breakfast area was a good size and the assortment of breakfast options was great! We enjoyed staying here at this location. The lady working the front desk was super nice even though I was aggravated with the $100 pet fee and not being informed of that prior to booking through Expedia. Once I got in the room though I realized why it was such an expensive pet fee. The rooms have carpet. Still very expensive. Pet fee should not be almost as much as we paid for the room. The lady with the long braid in the morning serving the breakfast was the sweetest. She was super attentive and nice. Made me feel at home. The beds were super comfy and ac worked well. Rooms were nice and clean. Had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend this hotel. If we ever come back through that area we will definitely return.

This was an amazing place to stay! Great food in the area and the staff was super friend at the welcome and the checkout. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.
