John was pleasant and helpful

I wasn’t aware when I booked that it was a room in a unit sharing a very small bathroom with a male stranger There was no way I could ascertain I had booked a home stay - I thought it was a motel room The room was adequate but I didn’t like the pillows and linen which I found to be synthetic and uncomfortable I found the key system where John wanted me to put the key back in the lockbox when I went out difficult to manage in the dark Breakfast presented on a small table wedged into a corner of the living area was uninviting Mostly I found the situation uncomfortable sharing with a stranger when I had expected my own space and bathroom I think the booking system needs renewed so people can understand what they are booking before they book
