The property was in great shape and the location to the Lake and town is awesome. I would recommend this vacation home to all my friends.

Great location. Some people write about the trees. You still have a good view of the lake, and the trees provide some privacy from the beach next door.

I've rented different homes in Whitefish staying on the lake over the past few summers. Overall, I left a little disappointed in this property. The unit is located right next to the public beach and boat launch so you will hear a fair amount of activity during the summer days. Trees are blocking a fair amount of the lake view from the balcony, the view is not quite as advertised on HomeAway. The interior of the unit is well laid out but the quality of the construction and decor was underwhelming. There is minimal furniture and decorations in all of the rooms. It has the fundamentals: couches, beds, etc. but there’s a distinct lack of decorating that gives this place a sterile vibe. I’d suggest to the owners to spend a few bucks on decorating to make the unit feel more homey. Right now it's on par with the decor at a cheap hotel. The deck is on a strange slant and the only furniture was a plastic picnic bench. We were ok with it but when you are paying a premium in the summer it’s not exactly on par with what you want for the money spent. There is a small low end BBQ unit set on a plastic table with a propane unit underneath it. Pretty low rent set up, the owners could spend $250 at the local hardware store to find a more presentable BBQ and deck set up. The walls are paper thin and we could hear every step the the neighbors took in the unit above us. If you're sensitive to that sort of situation then this unit is not for you. With all that said, we never had a problem while staying at the unit. Everything worked as it should, our issues had to do more with the experience not matching the expense of the rental. If you’re looking for a first class rental then I would say look elsewhere. If the price is right for your vacation and you want to be near the water and close to town then this might be the right unit for your trip. The people at Whitefish Escapes, who manage the property, were fantastic. From the time we submitted the rental request through our stay and departure, everyone on the staff was very attentive, friendly, and helpful anytime we had a question.

Very clean and cozy! Great for families - we were grandparents, adults, and grandchild. Right on the lake - would be awesome in summer. About a 20 min drive to ski hill and a 2 min drive (or a short walk) to downtown. Would recommend!

Property is centrally located, close to town centre, and has fabulous view of Whitefish Mountain and the lake front. Property Managers great to deal with - very responsive. Great property if your planning a skiing trip.
