We loved our stay~ first, and foremost, the staff was exceptional~ every person we had contact with went above and beyond and were so kind. Room was spacious and lovely, pool was great, and the restaurant on site with patio had lovely fire tables and great views of the marina.

Wonderful hotel, so sad to leave! Beautiful room, public areas and pool. Friendly and attentive staff and just a fab experience all round. Awesome brunch too.

Making reservations, we of course thought we would be in the hotel, instead we were escorted to the Owners resident side of the hotel, where they had a pool in front of our view of the bay and the pool area was quite noisy.

Great hotel!! We loved it. Great restaurant, nice pool, convenient pool bar, fitness center had several good machines. Beds were very comfortable. Concierge was very friendly & helpful. Rode bikes to Lido. We will be back! Newport Beach is wonderful!

Check in was a disaster as we were caught in (what the front desk clerk described) as a "shift change" and therefore no one knew if our room was ready or not even though we received TWO calls saying it was? Upon check out, our car batter was dead because valet personal left something on in the car. They ended up jumping our car with their truck. Ford conformed our, less than a year old battery, is now fine. A $45 room credit that was supposed to be part of our room package was only applied to ONE drink. Expensive drink! All this to say, beautiful resort with nice location. Just really, really, bad training of staff and poor follow through on service. Not good for the price paid.

We booked this hotel for a family trip, hoping to celebrate our 19th anniversary while enjoying some quality time together. As business owners with busy schedules, we were looking forward to a relaxing stay. However, our experience was less than ideal.
The check-in process was frustrating. We requested a room with a decent view in honor of our anniversary, but were given what seemed to be the worst room at the resort—right on top of the garage with a view of the street. When we asked to change rooms, we were told it would cost an additional $50 per night and that the only available option had a king-size bed and a rollaway. We reluctantly agreed, but upon seeing the room, we felt unwelcome. Paying $600 per night and having to sleep on a rollaway bed was not what we had in mind.
Adding to our frustration, the shower head in the room was broken. At this point, we decided it wasn’t worth staying at a resort where service seemed to be an afterthought. We contacted hotels.com to cancel the booking, and while their customer service rep tried to help, nothing changed until the hotel manager, Jack, got involved. He was the only person who genuinely cared about our situation, and I truly appreciate his hospitality. He provided us with a better room and kindly asked us to stay, which we did. Overall, the hotel has a great location, but I can only give it 3 stars for the service. It wasn’t about the cost; it was about level of service we received for the price we paid.

The service was not the quality that would be expected at this level of hotel. Front desk and restaurant entrance was unexceptionable. Waiter and the parking staff were good.

We had a great stay and the staff was so friendly! We had a noisy neighbor above us at bedtime but we called the front desk and it was taken care of immediately and we were given free gifts of chocolate.
