We booked a one-night stay and had an easy check in process, the room was clean as expected. Unfortunately there was significant mold in the shower/tub in the bathroom which did not feel sanitary. Breakfast in the morning definitely left something to be desired, the coffee had a bad taste, as though maybe the pots need to be cleaned.

AC did not work right kept giving us a P4 code manager made me feel as I was stupid because he said let me make sure you don’t have it on heat. Told me to call and let him know if it was working or not and I called front desk and also walked down their waiting for him to come to the room and he never did lil red head girl at desk offered me a fan that was very small and dirty looked like it came out the dumpster I told her that would not help and she said it might help a little. Never seen the manager person again so we slept with the refrigerator open and my mom’s small fan. Very pretty hotel but the night people are not accommodating the guest and girl at the desk made me feel like I was bothering her and the manager. When I went to check out the next morning the lady did not even ask me how was my stay.

It was comfortable but a/c unit in room was noise. Rooms need updating but otherwise were good. Staff super nice.

The electrical lock on the door was not functioning so I spent the night staying in my room. If I had to leave the room, I needed to place door jam on the outside--very unsafe. I wish I was offered I new room. Was going to ask bur night attendant was swamp with first responders and electrical power men staying there.

Outlets are not tight to the wall. The rooms smell stale, and the access doors from the back has a broken door handle.

Check-in was incredibly slow. Waited in line for about 20 minutes with 4-5 guests checking in ahead of me. Front desk was very courteous and helpful although I’m sure he was feeling the stress of being overwhelmed with guests and working by himself. The check-in process should not be that difficult and time consuming which is the fault of the hotel chain.

It was located off the freeway, I wasn't familiar with the area and a little hard to find, the street that is.

Ice machine broken in 1st floor. No ice machine on 2nd floor. 3rd floor was only machine in motel. Some bugs in the bathroom. Room was good.

Rooms need to be updated

Overall for a last minute trip it was a pretty good room. While I did have some trouble checking in the staff was polite and helpful. A decent portion was underconstruction or just inaccessible because they are undergoing renovations. My room was clean however the bathroom could stand a much needed update.

We stayed at Comfort Inn because of their name. I was very disappointed in the room. The curtains were very dirty and the room was very outdated.

Our room 229 was infested with cockroaches. I killed about 20 of them. I can’t believe I paid $100 to not sleep after a 14-hr drive. No sense in asking for another room, since cockroaches cannot be contained to one room. The walls must be paper thin. I could hear the people in the room next door coughing and snoring. I left without having breakfast. Couldn’t get out fast enough. Now I’m worried that those bugs are in my luggag.

Lobby very clean, hotel rooms ok. Breakfast not so good.

It is convenient from the highway

This hotel is the best hotel in statesville nc. Its right off the hightway tucked back away from the road. Pet friendly. The staff is amazing very friendly and very respectful. I would not stay anywhere else when we go to nc. I always have the same room as I request with no problems. If you need a room for a night or weeks they always have something for you.

This place was a hell hole!!! Would never recommend this place to anyone!! I wanted our money back and they would not do it! Disgusting place
