Room smelled

Was so excited to stay here. In chicago often. Never stayed in lincoln park. $400 nightly rate for Sunday. No fridge. Had to chase housekeeper to get couple paper cups. AC is window units. Absolutely nothing complimentary . Thought will take bath. Omg, tub completely chipping! No way was that cleaned recently. Hope i can share photos. Lead chipped paint? Customer service was combative. Even after hotel asked for rating. Same person contacted me They are still combative to personal cell. Crazy. Bed uncomfortable. Small window of lake had amazing view. I tried to make right with hotel, but $410 room, $70 for parking, no drinking water/ fridge/leadfree chipped tub. Somethings.. you kind of e c oect in chicago at this price point. Seriously, $500 total for a sunday? Stay in Gary instead of here if chicago is booked. Hoping i can share photos/video. Had more amenities at motel 6 on highway. Rooftop bar service,- outstanding Cute Coffee bar in lobby

Overall a great stay. Great location. Bees were not great. Very uncomfortable. Otherwise, nice.

The in-room air conditioner was very loud, waking me up multiple times during the night as it turned back on with loud buzzing sounds. It is also loud outside the window from the sirens, musclicians and other noises in the city. 1 of 2 elevators is old and slow, so I took the stairs most of the time.

Check in was 3pm we did not get into our room until almost 6pm. Staff was not helpful in anyway. Once we got to our lake view room the curtain was broken so we couldn’t even enjoy our view. Air conditioner was very dirty and falling apart.

They ran out of soap. Can you believe that? It’s true. It’s a Hyatt although the Hyatt name isn’t anywhere to be found on the property. I and two other guests were at the desk asking for soap because there was none in the room on our arrival. I have never rated hotel room before, but I felt compelled in this case because of the cost of the room was relatively high and the hotel is so old and run down. Can’t understand how this hotel has received positive ratings.

Great place loved it will stay here again!

Like the property overall but expected to use the pullout sleeper as a bed. Bedding was missing. Improvised with extra blankets, but they weren’t clean.

Hotel Lincoln continues to pare down its offering and is all the worse for it. Barely there, and barely civil front desk staff, no amenities within the room (water bottles would be nice), and no clear information around when upstairs bar/restaurant is open. It was closed half the time I was there! No decent breakfast offerings or alternatives. Very disappointing

Parking was a mess, it took 45 minutes to find a spot out front and then get my car checked in. Parking is an additional $70/ night that I would have preferred to know the cost up front. Room was large, but a bit on the dirty side. Couch was suspect so we didn’t sit on it

All good. They got very busy. Parking very expensive. Like the lot owner is aware....

Originally booked for lake view got there and they said they overbooked lake view rooms. Our room was then a fire exit view with a wet spot in the floor. Overall very disappointed with my stay. The check in desk and rooftop are the only things that were nice.

The staff were nice, hotel rooms are dated and with one elevator not working getting to your floor anytime after 3 was challenging. The biggest issue was not having a mini fridge and limited fliers to get ice on. The location was nice but overpriced when actually seeing the room and facilities.

There is some property issues like doors are hard to open and slide open very chancy on coffee and condiments for coffee elevator very slow LJD😎

Beautiful hotel, nice room which was very clean. Totally enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend for any traveller!
