Very clean rooms, friendly staff and on-time airport shuttle

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Exactly what I want from a hotel. After arriving though, I was informed the restaurant was closed and they weren't offering daily maid service. This wasn't really a problem as we were only staying two nights. After the first night I came across some of the staff on strike outside of the hotel. Apparently new owner cut 70% of the positions, doesn't want to keep the restaurant open and isn't willing to compensate the cleaning staff appropriately. Had we known, we wouldn't have booked the Raddisson (we are union supporters).The hotel itself is very nice but apparently the new owner is wanting to make big changes, which may mean the hotel won't be as nice for long.

We are traveling to Vancouver and we love this hotel! Nice location, nice service. Everything is perfect! Will live here next time to Vancouver!

Location was good, room was nice. However, the AC ran non stop and didn’t keep the room cool. No dining was a problem. The offer snacks that they bought from Costco at an inflated price. Even those seemed to run out quickly. The staff was nice but the food available was not good or helpful. I understand they had workers on strike, but really made me regret my hotel choice. Was also uncomfortable when we would walk to go places and the protesters were at the entrance. Very disappointing.

The hotel was clean and the staff was nice. We picked this hotel for the convenient free airport shuttle service offered but unfortunately, the shuttle service proved to be unreliable. The hotel is also located a ways away from the train stop so it was difficult to get to the hotel from the airport without a taxi, Uber or walking a few blocks. There is also no restaurant at the hotel, making meal planning somewhat difficult. Our room was very clean, beds were comfortable and air conditioner worked well.

There is no food service in the hotel which is very inconvenient

Perfectly suitable to stay

Most of the staff was on strike or missing for whatever reason. Ones who were present were very helpful.

Despite there being a strike, I was impressed with the staff as a whole. I was so impressed that I plan to return very shortly, as I will be travelling back and forth for the upcoming months. All I can say is... thank you to the staff, especially at the front desk! Well done.

although there was a strike at the hotel it didnt impact us, just a handful of strikers outside, there was limited housekeeping available but they were helpful with our needs, no restaurant in hotel but plenty within walking distance

The price was good however they are having labor disputes. Area around property was not maintained. Our room was missing some key things like soap and glasses.
