Nice location, beautiful interior, charm of yesteryear! Were able to get a second night in the same room we booked for the first night ( it was a last minute decision to stay a second night) and the team shuffled things around so we didn’t have to change rooms.

The Hotel was lovely but the pub was amazing. Irish music till midnight and packed with locals and tourists all chatting.

Very clean. Staff is so nice. Walkable to everything with parking on site. Great restaurant downstairs Town Hall. Overall a great recommendation is a perfect spot.

Difficult to say as the town was in uproar and hotel full due to County Clare winning hurling. Very helpful and charming reception staf/hall poeters

Hotel is beautiful, very old world, it’s everything an upscale, traditional Irish hotel should be. Staff were amazing, Veronica at the reception was especially professional, friendly and helpful. I’ve been visiting Ireland for over 2 weeks now and this hotel bar is the very first place with a proper barman. One that engages and has the Irish banter all the while serving you drinks in good time. Between Jason and Damian the couple of hours we were there flew. Thanks, it’s been a pleasure.

Lovely hotel,great location , friendly and helpful staff.only downside was the room. Fantastic size but the bathroom door had warped and wouldn’t close without a mighty shove and the radiator made a hissing noise all night .
Would stay again though .

The Old Ground is an amazing place. Comfy, cozy, top notch service. Warm, welcoming. Can't wait to visit again.
